Whenever you see your breath thats the ghosts room. Mark that down as freezing temperatures as evidence. First thing i do when I find ghost room is drop crucifix on ground 8n ghosts room. That prevents the haunt if the ghost is within 2 meters of cross area. Keep in mind ghost can spawn in any area that's not 2 meters around cross in the ghosts room
And stack your bread by taking photos. Take photo of bone before you pick it up…take photo of ghost writing. Ghost can write in two books and the book can be anywhere in the house and sometimes even written in your hand while you're holding it but generally I do throw it in ghosts room at least 1. Take a picture of both ghosts books for double the cash. Just remember to photo your evidence!

When the front door slams the ghost is hunting so you have to hide until hunt phase is over
