in my opinion all the updates on this board are really exciting i just don't like the custom ghost interaction rate cause it will be so weird to just tell the ghost what to do instead of letting the AI decide for it self so
I want the fun back in the game, and customizing isn't about making it 'easier' it's about making it more fun in my perspective. People have different needs.
I was playing a horror game when i heard the discord ping sound, i checked discord and saw it was from the phasmo server! Already there i was excited, and when i saw the roadmap i just freaked out! Amazing! Cant wait to see it! ^_^
the VR stuff doesnt mean much for me as I dont play it in VR but player customising is something me and my friends have discussed in our Phasmo videos as well as new equipment, which most excites me for immersion and realism, which Phasmo tries to simulate with having actual ghost hunting tech in to simulate the experience of doing it for real, the more of that the better.
I remembered when they asked, "New levels or level rework" and I don't see level rework on the road maps. Hopefully it's a part of the Progression Update
i really wonder where the money comes from to keep up so many servers and pay a small team to work at least 30h a week… really, you buy the game one time and i doubt there are daily purchases
The only thing I really want in the game is something to do as a dead player. I feel really left out when playing with friends and I die. Some people just quit playing or drop when playing with randos and they die. There needs to be something to do when killed or the game gets boring while you wait for 20+ mins as the remaining people try to figure the ghost type out without going inside -.- The ability to throw items as a dead player isn't helpful either…
I play in VR all the time when i play Phasmo. I can say that i am excited to see them planning to work on it. been having issues that prevent me from enjoying it in VR recently. i will be a happy man to scare my pants off in VR with friends again once they fix some things~ its a blast to play in VR in general~ lots more scary~ cant wait to see them improve and give the game more OOHFM!
4:40 I think CJ mentioned at one point that they were discussing locking in people's old levels through some kind of cosmetic feature at the level wipe. Like a tattoo on your character or something. (Although my guess is they probably go with something besides a tattoo to avoid making your characters look like Holocaust survivors lol) But I hope they follow through with that, especially for people like you, Insym, Psycho etc. You should definitely get some kind of cosmetic feature to show off you reached such high levels before the update.

I like the level rework, I'm "only"lv500+ and xp xp has lost it's meaning (other than maybe flex, but than again 500 isn't that high for a long time player)
Character model revamp when? Imagine if not only do we have skeleton and posture correct models, but we can actually 'customize' our own characters with clothing and identity with many more models to choose from, but also able to customize their clothing's color and the availability of masks and hats.
3:32 In Unity there are a few render pipelines (Methods of rendering meshes, Textures, Lightmapping, etc) and they all have their own setbacks and advantages, Most likley this would be a change regarding optimization and quality. Edit: this was already explained, now i look like an idiot
No new map, horror 2.0 and such for a year, and level wipe, are both things I'm not happy about. I get there are other priorities, but a whole year, unless they can "squeeze it in..maybe"? Ugh. This customization thing better be good, then.

I'm hoping that customizable difficulty will let you make easier difficulties as opposed to just super hardcore ones. Perhaps a good midcore with the no setup and maybe professional-level sanity drain , but longer grace times and less or zero blockages.
I honestly hope they let you revert some of the changes that were made to make the game 'harder" and "scarier" that are kind of obnoxious when I'd rather play casually as opposed to super scary hardcore. If they let us revert the global flashlight flashing and global comms static to what they were before the hunt changes, I probably would and never turn it off ever again. They won't, but I can hope.

For VR this is a very nice update. It has been really rough to play the game in VR due to performance issues.

Many people have asked for the possibility of a "friendly" ghost, meaning no hunts (or hunt duration 0 seconds).
Maybe the custom difficulty finally allows for that.
What about the developer's level? On nightmare it didn't hunt in about 20 minutes.
