  1. Don't get too used to the "new" hiding spots on Willow. I played last night and the Garage was set up differently, the spots you had were not available for us last night. I suspect the hiding spots might change and we'll have to locate them each round. The shelf was not there in the Laundry area and the plywood at the back wasn't on our map either.

On Maple, the food tent and Storage tent might offer a hiding spot, along with the small pup tents if they aren't full. I assume the Pier, but haven't confirmed that yet.

  2. It would be cool if the contract payment screen had a line "cost of used equipment" and it would say it there, maybe even subtract it from your reward and rebuy them if you choose to

  3. I have to weigh in. I love phasmo, can't wait to play it one day on ps5…

However, the devs seem to have no idea how doors are fitted and why. They should always open in a way to be as unobtrusive possible, usually towards the closest wall.

Some examples… Tanglewood utility room the door opens in a very obstructive way: the middle of the room. Imagine carrying a ladder from the garage to the kitchen, that will be hell. The farmhouse map, I always confuse the names… again the door opens away from the nearest wall, towards the middle of the room. This is actually a hazard in home design as you can hit someone with a door that you didn't see. On another note, corner doors are usually too close to the perpendicular wall to hide behind as the hinge is right in the corner.

I get that this was done for balance but there has to be a better way, like hiding too close to doors makes you visible to the ghost through the door because your character "hitbox" is showing through the door.

  4. Sorry but the new doors update ..so that you can no longer hide behind it is totally crab. Any architect would turn in their graves. The doors make no sense and completely block small rooms when they are open. a little exaggerated. You lose money on everything if you don't make it. Phasmo is getting less and less fun!

  5. Honestly I don't mind removing the door safe spots, but they look so wrong like that, opening to a straight wall… And rip the glass doors, I loved them :c It might be harder to code, I don't know, but just making those doors see-through for the ghost would simply solve it without ruining those beautiful doors D:

  6. One thing that's still terrible with the VR update is the video camera, at least for Vive users. I don't have the money right now to upgrade my HMD, and the low resolution of the Vive makes it genuinely near impossible to see orbs.

  7. I feel like phasmophobia just gets better and better every update, unlike other games where most of them add in bad changes and they just either remove them or just change them that much that they become useless but phasmophobia is kind of different…

  8. I have a story from yesterday when I played the update. It was my 5th and last game. After dealing with 2 psychotic Onis on Tanglewood and Ridgeview, one charming Yokai on Edgefield, and a hard as hell Poltergeist in Prison, I went to Willow angry and my cousins were not helping my case. For context we were playing for over an hour and a half nonstop, my cousins would not shut the hell up as they kept making the spiritbox yap its little head off and nearly got me killed with the Yokai, and every ghost seemed to scare the hell out of me more and more. This last game I decided "Fuck it" and wanted to try a death run speedrun for myself.

I find the mirror in the garage and see that Gloria (forgot her last name it was new) was in the boys room. I get to zero sanity and break the mirror. A hunt starts and i sit behind the glass door in the living room scratching my nose right, and what came out of that bedroom, hell no. It was the Pj girl Insym named Lisa right, but she was BENT BACKWARDS walking around broken in half. She didn't see me at first and I go to try to see her better, then she ends the hunt. Its not over. She events in the kitchen with a redlight, and on the floor was the most disturbing thing I saw in this game. Gloria was laying in the floor like she was crawling with her head swiveling around. I nearly ran out but curiosity had me. I stayed and she hunted again, and this time I got brave and stood in the middle of the kitchen halfway through the hunt. She comes crawling out the basement where she went first, and as I accepted my fate, she quit her hunt 2 FEET from my ass. I never laughed so hard at a ghost who both was scary and dumb as hell. I just left and put Wraith as a yolo and she was a Goryo. Yall gotta find a "Lisa" pj ghost and see this for yerself.
