I’ve had a lot of comments lately from players telling me they are struggling with determining when their hunt has ended. I too sometimes think a hunt has ended when in fact, it hasn’t. Hopefully some of these tips will help you in determining when the hunt is in fact over. If you’ve got your own tips for deciphering the end of a hunt, let me know in the comments.

Hopefully this light trick will help some of you in your own ghost hunts. Remember, if you turn on lights in the area you intend to hide in despite the power being off, you can still see the light move to the off position when the hunt is over. While ghosts do interact with things during an active hunt, I personally haven’t had the ghost turn off any lights while testing for this video. Although it may have happened in the hundreds (if not thousands) of ghost hunts I’ve done, I personally don’t recall it happening. So if your location suddenly becomes dark, you can determine the hunt is over. So turn some lights on – even if the power is off!

great video, i personally only switch lights off and my audio is very loud – if i dont hear the ghost , it isnt nearby so i go turn on a switch light
