  2. I hope you play this more! You guys should save up some money to buy more equipment.
When talking to the ghost, only ask questions and dont say the ghosts name. When you say the name the AI completely disregards the question and only takes it as you saying the ghosts name to anger it. Good questions to ask are: where are you, how old are you, are you here, give us a sign, etc.. Just ask them slowly and clearly without the ghosts name. Only use the ghosts name as a last resort if the ghost is being really shy and not showing itself.

Definitely recommend getting EMF detectors, spirit box, photo camera, video camera, strong flashlights (because the regular ones stink), thermometer, and a notebook. Once you make sure you have enough of those items, then move into the objectives so grab things like tripods, UV flashlights for fingerprints, head mounted cameras, smudge sticks (need a lighter for that too) and crucifixes. Take pictures of bones, dirty water, and ghosts for extra money, as well as looking for and using Ouija boards. Add the evidence to your journal using J as you go and then check what ghost options you have left. You can read in the journal what those ghost options require as evidence so you’ll know what equipment to bring inside the house with you so you can rule out those required options. When your flashlight (or any house lights) start flashing that means the ghost is in hunting mode so you need to hide in a room (any room or closet with a door that is not the ghosts spawn room — which the spawn room can be found via EMF or cold temps), close the door, turn off all lights and equipment, and hide quietly until the ghost is done hunting. The ghost can hear ANY sound that your mic picks up, whether or not you’re using the games local/global talking features or not. Ghost orbs are also very hard to see on the cams in the truck. They’re usually very small in the top right corner of the cam screen somewhere. It hears everything you say and can use it to pinpoint your location. If you say key words like “scared, run, out, outside, go” or any screaming, then the ghost will take it as you trying to flee and it may go into hunting mode.

Hope these tips help you in your ghost hunting in the future! Can’t wait to see more Phasmo so I hope you guys do it again!
