Playing ALL MAPS in Phasmophobia on Insanity Mode

Welcome back to Phasmophobia! In this video we do ALL MAPS on insanity mode. I really enjoy this difficulty. It not only makes figuring out the ghost way more difficult but it also makes staying alive way harder. All around a great way to test your skill! ENJOY!

  1. I made a custom mode with 6.60 x .. it start as a 0 sanity run (that way you can get a hunt and check out many ghost right away) then you can take pills to get 100 % sanity and then it is Insanity mode with 1 evidence , kind of fun and good way to grind lvl

  2. Insym: "Let's take a break from no evidence"
Also Insym: "Instead let's do insanity, basically no evidence or even harder"

Love your content and personality Insym, keep it up 🤍

  4. I kind of dislike nightmare and insanity mode because it is very common for you to get the one or two evidence and then the ghost would be radio silent, only doing interactions and hunting you. Me not being fully pro at investigating ghosts in nightmare or insanity mode it takes me like 25-40 minutes each investigation whilst half of it is just finding out the correct ghost. But the thing that pisses me off is that I could just… Die, aswell as finding out certain evidences can be easy as counting to 10 or an absolute piss-take. But one more thing that makes both difficulties kind of fun, the amount of hiding places. Usually I like investigating on Edgefield road but due to the hiding places being almost 0, when on the other side of the house away from the only two hiding places next to each other, whenever it starts a hunt you just have to B-line up the stairs and hide away in the only two hiding places in the master bedroom. It does make it harder but it is really a hinderance if you are further away from a hiding place

  5. My wife took notes on your complete ghost guide. Playing Phas with her is something else now. 2 seconds in: "Let me check my notes. Yeah, that's an Onryo. Next map." Like, bruh, can I pretend to get some evidence for a little bit?

  6. With the light break events, the ghost doesnt turn off the light like in a normal event, which is why it also seems feels like a hunt sometimes until the lights shatter instead

  7. In terms of the apocalypse challenge, it took me less than an hour to do. I basically waited at the start for the ghost to hunt to get an idea (through audio) of whether it's upstairs or downstairs. Then I tried to figure out its speed (in relation to normal 150%). I ended up getting a rev and a moroi though, and the last one being a poltergeist. I believe I had 5 attempts where 2 of them went wrong because I died right away in the first one, and I guessed wrong in the second one (Mistakened a yokai for a banshee, because it wasn't chasing me when I had my flashlight out, and it was hunting my friend instead.

  8. My usual pattern in Insanity was to get the power on, find the bone, and discover where the ghost room is. Investigate as I can, let my sanity drain and see if I can guess the ghost from a hunt. Then eat the sanity pills and keep going. I did ok with it, but I think I prefer something not quite so hard.

  10. 15:29 this is something that I can’t stress enough about phasmophobia and it’s a love hate relationship I have with the game:

You cannot judge a ghost by its actions, unless it’s an action that’s specifically tied to a ghost that no other ghost can do (phantoms disappearing when you take a photo, for example). Just because a ghost is super active and does a lot of ghost events doesn’t mean you’re dealing with an Oni or Thaye, and just because the ghost is super inactive and won’t give you one event doesn’t mean you’re dealing with a Shade. It’s great because it keeps the gameplay interesting and allows for no ghost you deal with to be the same, but sucks because a lot of times it leads to you marking down the wrong ghost type based off “what it’s supposed to do”, and the worst part is when you land yourself back into the lobby and receive a harsh reminder that (outside of the actions that only a specific ghost can do), the only true way to know what ghost you’re dealing with is by just getting all evidence, unless you’re playing a mode where you don’t have all 3!

  11. 14:05 I have met a person with somekind of random thoughts too.
Where was his head at when he thought normal ghosts hunt at 65% sanity on Professional difficulty ???😅😂

The ghost burned a crucifix at above 50% sanity, I'm sure it was a demon (not thaye or any ghost above 50 because it has freezing temps and normal speed). He didn't believe me and decided to extend 10 more minutes trying to figure out what ghost it was.

I was right, it was a Demon lol

  12. Replayability > Flashy Content, always and forever. A friend of mine and I play Phasmo together every weekend and it's something we look forward to. Oh, and since you asked, we play on Nightmare or make our own custom difficulties.

  13. I really like the points you bring up with games like Demonologist vs Phasmophobia. I've watched a few games of Demonologist and to me it's like a well made Haunted House you go to during Halloween. They're great fun while you're going through them the first time, but if you started going through them over and over again the flashiness and "set pieces" would slowly lose their appeal. Demonologist is basically a themepark ride.

  14. It would be awesome if there was a challenge run mode, where you had to do all the levels in a row and your sanity would persist between each map with a slight reduction
