Insym, if you sit too close to the TV it'll rot your brain and turn you blind. That's what my parents always told me.
That's why you have to hold the cam at arm's length.
Now, CJ will have much more cameras to hog.
When I have the money I wanted to buy it to play with others, hopefully I can get it when the update comes out

secret rooms on the map or maybe in the future a procedural map? tangle wood but procedural would be awesome.
edit: also dont forget to add player collision for extra fun.
My play style is speed running so this is going to be really fun to figure out

I think what this game lack is a PTR. They show stuff off but nobody is testing it. What if these new mechanics don’t work at all or make no sense in real-time?
That’s the big issue with Indie devs alongside taking years to update their game. You literally have an entire fanbase to test your new ideas with but you wait until launch day and 100% of the time the game crashes. Every major update in Phasmo has broken mechanics or the game wouldn’t load properly.
A PTR or test server that’s up for a set amount of time before each major patch would save the devs a lot of time.
I can't wait to see what the tier 3 house key looks like! Maybe they've made it so you can't accidentally close the truck door while you try to pick it up.

I agree with you, Insym on the camera tier difference. The screen size is one thing, interference is a nice touch, but there could be resolution differences (low tier cam = low res) , camera fps (low tier cam = 12 fps, something that was a thing on shitty, cheap devices back in the day), motion blur and image stabilizatiom (again low tier wouldntbe able to deal with getting a good recording if the holder is moving or turning around, shaky footage – just like in real life, lol).
