I love to see you take multiple different approaches to the weekly – it really helps me decide how to tackle it myself. Regarding the different tiers of incense, the intended behaviour is they all blind the ghost for the same length of time – what's different is the burn time. When you say they blind for different durations, are you mixing those up, or have you tested that and identified a difference between actual and intended behaviour?
First ghost felt challenged when you said it was not a mare and immediately be like " And what if" breaking the lights 😂
I’m a total newbie to the game! How do you access the weekly challenge?? Or where does one go to get to it?
Lead developer here. I work in financial services, not the gaming industry, but perhaps I can provide some informed speculation on the perceived lack of development progress. There are numerous ways to solve a problem, some of which are more scalable and portable than others. For example, the team may have implemented voice recognition in a way that wasn't portable because there wasn't originally a requirement to be cross-platform and it was faster. Refactoring a process with a new solution is often very challenging because now you have a bunch of downstream dependencies built on top of the original solution that also need to be reworked. Building on a mature foundation is often slower and more challenging due to this accumulation of technical debt.
