The Yurei Has a BIG Problem in Phasmophobia

If you want to learn how to identify a Yurei without any evidence, or you want to see which doors don’t work for its ability, this video is for you. I’m highlighting both the strength and weakness of the Yurei as well as pointing out all the rooms the Yurei cannot do its ability in.

  1. We could have so many more rooms working for Yurei if Kinetic just enables these China Cabinet doors or the doors of the kitchen cupboards and link all the doors properly to the rooms it connects to. And all of that for any door, so we don't need to think "Can a Yurei slam the 3rd toilet stall door on the left side in the Prison toilet?".
Also, I think it's really weird that the trapping the ghost wish closes the fire place doors/cabinet doors. Like WTF, Kinetic…

  2. I was pleasantly surprised to find out about the method to eliminate the yurei. I've been playing Insanity which has 1 evidence and so now, if I can confirm that the ghost is in its room, I'll smudge it and set a 90 second timer with salt in the exits to the room. If ghost leaves the room outside of an event then it's not a yurei

  3. The most detailed explanation of a ghost ability I have ever seen, with precise maps and info. Thanks to Meik, and Easy for making this guide possible. I hope Kinetic Games realizes soon that there are a sizeable count of players who would like to have the mechanics clear and consistent for their challenge runs, and not just focus on 3/4x muliitplier players!

  4. Why is it even programmed that way in the first place, why does it matter if the Yurei's ghost room has a door or why do they have to be linked to a specific room? Why can't it just use its ability on any door he is standing nearby?

  5. I'm guessing whomever did the hospital wing and Willow was like Lavender, or Dk, and everything else was CJ. 😂😭
He reminds me of a grown child that the adults bully to do their work for them so they can take time off. CJ, improperly do all these doors so I don't have to sit here for hours doing it properly!

  6. Honestly I would’ve never minded the Yurei if the Goryo didn’t exist. It’s always a pain in the ass when the ghost doesn’t change rooms and you have to guess if it’s a Goryo or shy Yurei. Just give the Yurei fixes to its abilities or some new ability, because I honestly never want to waste a smudge for Yurei testing, since it allows myself and other players to stay alive for hunts

  7. Regarding 'place of death', in addition to meaning the ghost (journal re: Yurei) and the bone's room (ouija board) it can also refer to the favourite room (journal re: Goryo). Not a very helpful term when used like that XD

  8. Hate to tell the new player but almost everything in the ghost book is totally BS. It also says that Wraiths have no feet cuz they float. Also says that whenever a Obake changes it leaves behind special evidence which is also untrue, this "ability " is the 6 finger mark which has a random RNG of popping up and an obake has a 75% chance to NOT leave any UV.
