This is such a helpful tips guide, thank you. Must admit tho I'm a little sad to move past the early access days when the mechanics were arcane and unknowable and rumours spread like urban legends.
"Yeah, to get the crucifix to work you have to turn your torch off and throw it at the ghost during a hunt but you have to stand on one foot irl at the same time unless your name starts with an M in which case you have to burp the alphabet backwards instead".
2 get two crosses and just make a barrier of them on the floor as a safe zone for those who need to run to it especially if someone is trying to get pictures
i wish the game had more scary shit…like doors slamming shut, footsteps, shit thrown against the walls with a loud bang. all the cabinets creaking open…etc…u know scary shit

Good tips, Zoe! I hope Phasmo adds a mode called "Crossing Over" where you and your team don't just ID ghosts, but also help them (more than one) cross over to the other side. A lot of Ghost Hunting videos deal with this aspect because that's why spirits are haunting a particular location, allegedly. It would be a different kind of mode, possibly more chill because the emphasis would be on ID and communicating via Ouija Board, Spirit Box, etc. to determine who they are, why they're still stuck here and helping them move on. Of course, they could have demons try and trick your team and hunt them, but the foundation for this kind of mode is already there, and it would be relatively easy to add with a few tweaks and/or additions.
Advanced tip 21: for the love of god do not blair witch!
My top tip for phasmo is roleplay it. Seriously. Come up with a silly character and it immediately makes the game 10x better – win or lose! My phasmo OC is called $andy and she's one of the real ghostwives. (Just be smarter than me and give your character a voice that doesn't fry your vocal cords after one sentence)

It makes sense that Zoe is helming this. Ian just makes a hilarious nuisance of himself, and poor Aoife always gets ghost-murdered in the first 10 minutes
A good survival tip is that all ghosts, as of right now, cannot hunt if your team sanity is above 50% except for the Yoki, Demon, and Banshee.
