The Jinn is another ghost that has been updated in the Cursed Possessions update. In this video I’ll be testing to see what has changed.

  1. In worries about the tanglewood redesign. My favorite part of tanglewood is how basic it is. It's the perfect map for beginners and people wanting casual games or difficult challenges in nightmare. I do have faith in the dev team to keep those qualities of tanglewood

  2. Im guessing that the idea is to confuse you into thinking it could be rev/raiju to cause you to smudge early before knowing it slightly slowed down if it was closer. Specially on nightmare mode were keeping sanity high is important but evidence lacks.

  3. Ok lets have some talk about the last Hunt that was very interesting. I looked at the time from 9:40 to 10:15.
The Jinn speed up at a very high rate because he is far away and Nuzz smudged him as soon as he was nearby. Even if a ghost is smudged he can still see were you going (when he walks the same direction as you). But now the real plotttiwst. If the ghost can see you, you definitly get the heartbeat BUT the heartbeat stopped after 9:45 (before Nuzz even enters the room with the hiding Place). Nuzz closed even the door for a full break line of sight but still the Ghost opend both hiding doors completly (and if you listen close before he open them his steps getting way faster) as he would know that he is in there… HOW? HOW? HOW?
Sometimes these Ghosts seemed to see you even throw doors and Walls.

  4. It happened to Psycho as well.
The devs has said they were doing something along the line of ghosts remembering where you hide and having a chance to look at those spots.
Looks like the Jinn has been given the ability to do one violent opening of your closet even if it never saw you entering there for that hunt.
And you see it doesn't try a second time.

  5. What I have seen but cant confirm ofcourse, is that the jinn still knows where you are after breaking line of sight. You cant see that while using a smudge. However, maybe I just got really unlucky so we'll see in further testing

  6. There was one time I was playing on campsite and this jinn started a hunt all the way from cabin and it chased me all the way to the restrooms. I was lucky that I lived. Jinns really do be chasing now. 😅
