  1. This is great and looking forward to the update. Any chance checking out Ghost Hunters Corp for anything new too? It’s been a good while since you last played and I remember it being a lot fun seeing you play😄🙌💚👻🙏☺️

  2. It's also good to mention that door interactions give 3*s if you take a picture of the spot where it touches the door, which is the spot where it leaves fingerprints if it has UV as evidence. Every door has 1 spot where it can touch the door, but this spot is not the same on all doors.
If you know the spot of every single door, then you can take 3* pictures reliably. Otherwise it isn't a reliable source for interaction pictures.

(I'm 20 minutes in and just heard the explanation of the pictures, but noticed that this was missing. If it's mentioned further into the video then you can ignore my comment)

  3. Honestly the way the difficulties work in Phas bothers me. Getting a Demon, Moroi or another sanity drainer on amateur is a MUCH harder game then getting a Spirit or some other 50% hunter on Professional.

The 5 minute set up time is basically pointless unless you are in the dark the entire time and get hit by several ghost events. Restoring more sanity by pills is again pointless for beginners because they won’t have pills. Hiding spots is also generally pointless for beginners because they need to think about finding the spot then forget to turn their stuff off anyway.

Honestly I think on Amateur the ghost should never hunt. Friendly ghost. The rewards are so low anyway it doesn’t even matter. Intermediate should make it so Demons, Thayes and sanity drainers (Jinn, Moroi, Yurei, Oni, potentially Mimics) should not appear.

  4. I think it was a missed opportunity for Insym to do each difficulty with the respective equipment Tier levels, since this video is catered for new players. Should've used Tier 1 items on Amateur and progressively increase.

  5. One thing that is worth to mention that the ghost isn't some omnipotent being that can be anywhere at anytime. It's actually a model that is invisible and it has to move to a location to do its thing, unless it does a ghost event or it is a Wraith. It has an interaction radius so to speak, but walls won't stop that.
It might look like the ghost threw an item, but if it was close to a wall, it could mean the ghost is in the next room.

  6. Learn every ghost by evidence on amateur.

Then learn what the ghost looks like while it hunts on amateur.

This is probably the safest way to make you comfortable with hunts and with what each ghost looks like and does while hunting. Because in higher levels you will need the ghost to hunt to figure out which one it is between the 2-4 ghosts still left on your list.

Some ghosts stomp really loudly while hunting, some are almost impossible to hear *walking" (not singing or crying) some walk really fast and some change speed.

You have to get used to that, or you won't do well on higher difficulties

  7. I remember my friend playing for the first time they grabbed the music box and before i could properly explain it they activated it… in the ghost room…
they died… i lived because i fled immediately.

another friend in my game summed up the music box as "a musical guillotine"

  8. 30:50 You don't actually need to point it on the ground. Stepping in and out of the room will make it update.
Try it. Point the thermo on the ground while outside of the ghost room. It wont go down till you physically step inside the ghost room.

  9. I personally recently started playing the game aside from playing twice and being confused when the game originally came out and i hate playing on amateur, i cant figure things out based on the ghost hunting because it just NEVER will hunt, its also really boring because the ghost never tries to kill me

  10. Can't wait for the console release. My mum bought me a £10/£20 Playstation gift card to spend on any game in the Playstation Store for my birthday last year and I've been saving it until the release of this game.
    Excited.

  12. That 'WTF, TIM?!' is so relateable, some of my friends never pay attention to sanity or actively take measures to mitigate sanity loss at all. It's genuinely become hard to play with new players because of them.
