  1. The Sound sensor radius' have to be bugged, they are not consistent at all. I thought they would scale different between map sizes sure, but its not even that. The original small maps (houses) have their own scaling, the two campsites share their own scaling, prison has its own, high school has its own, and Sunny Meadows is closer to small house maps. Its wild.

  2. Thank you for the weekly videos and explanations. Outside of the door issue, the challenge would probably fall to pure luck for most casual players; largest map, happen upon the ghost, randomly and if it feels like making noise. — I can't imagine how frustrating the game may be to new console players, since most of the "need to know mechanics" are not taught in-game. Assuming there is not a complete overhaul of the training and store for console, the only viable source of up-to-date information is from the content creators.

  3. This one was painful ngl. The inability to drain sanity was awful. Got bamboozled by a goryo and a mimic 😩

    Edit: IoI my last ghost was also a Deo and it took next to no time to guess

  4. I ended up looking for an open door. Failing that, I looked for a room with Freezing Breath.
    Even after finding the ghost room, the limited equipment to get evidence sometimes left me with a list of ghosts that I couldn't easily eliminate.
    You can get Ghost Orbs in multiplayer via the T1 headcams.
    But you CANNOT rule out Freezing at all.

  5. For an "audio only" challenge, I think it would've been a lot more fun and fitting to have the music box.

    Had a moroi in the entry T junction, easy to identify with the footstep speeds across two different hunts.
    Next ghost was a yurei in the basement right hand side, identified it since it closed its door while I was away, and I listened in on paramic for a double door touch.
    Third and final ghost (and definitely the worst one) was a mare inside the left entryway room that wouldn't do any ghost events. Had to wait until my sanity drained to figure out if it was a spirit or a mare based on how soon it hunted.

    All in all it was a pretty easy challenge, just time consuming if you end up with a ghost that doesn't do anything to drop your sanity down and only has 1 of the evidence available.

  6. I was with a group where we thought it was either yokai, mare or obake. couldn't get UV or anything so we just all started blasting music for like 20 minutes because our sanity wasn't dropping. good times.

  7. Psycho you're better than that dude… 2nd Ghost was clearly an Oni and not a Banshee as it never roamed like a Banshee to make your life hard with opening doors that are far from the ghost room also 2 events dropped your sanity with 40% clearly Oni

To be fair Psycho, it is good that the devs have got all doors starting closed and if ghost have interacted with a door, leaving only one room that has an opened door, it would help the hearing impaired players, so at least they have gave us an inclination of a ghost room when we can't rely on audio 😅 so I'm grateful for that. The paramic still give away the background noises so we have no tell otherwise.
