Being Hunted on Large Maps… – Phasmophobia [LVL 5237]

Welcome back to Phasmophobia! In this video I play prison, asylum and high school on the new update! This was quite the nightmare. We encountered some very unique ghosts, some were really easy and some were absolutely impossible. I really hope you enjoy! Much love and see you during the streams 😀

I stream every day live at 7PM CEST, 1PM EST, 10AM PST over on https://www.twitch.tv/insym

  1. Honestly so troll of the devs to give Rev 2 of the most unreliable evidence. I had a game last night where I was convinced it wasn't writing and put in Hantu (basement ghost not roaming at all, so I just figured no fingies were gonna show) and then saw in the truck cam the writing book being used. Barely put it in the journal in time lmao.

  2. With the new hunt mechanics it'd be so cool to see some things that could help distinguish the ghost types subtly! Id love to see it if Jinn got some hidden mechanic to have twice the range for bugging out electronics, or if the mare caused flashlights specifically to shine significantly darker than other ghosts cause them to during hunts. It could make it a bit easier to tell what ghost youre dealing with, but I think it'd be fun to have more skill based "aha!" moments similar to photographing a phantom or the old spirit footsteps thing.
I'm loving this new patch either way! Keep up the amazing content Insym, and F for that rev death!

  3. It wasn't roaming why you didn't get freezing. It was because you had the breaker on, so you never got freezing breath. Since the update, it's seems you've been forgetting that

  4. Yes, paramic is very strong now, remember the item tier list, that I said I still used the thermo to find the ghost room? Well I switched it up now, after the update I'll take a paramic and a cam, paramic is just too good.
About the paramic update rate, I think its fine now. If they made it update instantly, like you're suggesting, then paramic would turn into thermo 2.0 on steroids, people would just take the paramic and run, swiping left and right till they detect something. I like the way it is now, its powerful, but you have to know how to use it properly. You have to be slow and methodic about it, and it will give away the ghost room always

  5. Bro, these roaming ghosts, along with freezing, are a powerful combo. Today I was playing with a few friends on Tanglewood and we thought we had a freezing ghost, cause I got like a 1.5°C reading on the thermo for a brief second. But the ghost was roaming so much that the actual room temperature stayed around 3-7 °C for a good while. I died, cause it hunted and spawned in the garage, and I ran to the garage to hide in the locker and ran straight into the ghost like a complete dumbass. After that my teammates spent like a good 20 mins double checking, triple checking every other piece of evidence, but couldn't get anything, other than the thermo very rarely dropping below 3°C. In the end, it was a freezing ghost, but damn it was tricky to figure it out

  6. Oh man, my crew's first big map was Prison. It was hunting by the time we found it in A block, even with a paramic. It was fingerprints, Dots, and orbs, a Banshee. Beings the orbs were on the stairs we put the DOTS projector under the stairs, worked like a charm. The new hunts are crazy!

  7. Idea: to make it easier to tell if there's a hunt on a large map, drop a couple EMF readers around in key intersections. If you're wandering and all of a sudden you hear one go insane… well, I guess that's your queue to hide.
