You will probably be surprised how fast this sleeper ghost in Phasmophobia can go ;). It’s speed was also officially confirmed in this video.

  1. This is incredibly interesting! I had no idea the Moroi was the new king/queen of speed! Well that definitely makes ALL THREE of the new ghosts very awesome now. Previously I kinda felt like the Moroi was a little boring. Drain your sanity a bit and speed up the lower your sanity is… zzz… the sanity drain is very controllable as well. The only uncontrollable aspect is maybe getting surprised and being "early" hunted as a result of the sanity drain if you were unaware of Moroi being a potential option. Very cool ghost!

  2. Me personally i stopped playing phasmo a few updates after ghosts got the ability to speed up. I personally think the game has gotten too hard in the wrong way. Instead of making the ghosts to be feared not because of a simple statistic but by their intelligence or powers they opted to make them faster than the player. And maybe im just biased to the alpha versions but I much preferred the old experience than the new :/ just my comment to help psyco boost his vid while giving meaningful discussion potential

  3. I wish they'd make the Rev either faster or trickier, ever since we've got these new sprint speeds in most cases its less dangerous than a normal ghost since its so slow without LoS
Having it do long strides when it sees someone to throw off the footstep timing might be fun, or making it stumble around making their foot steps the same frequency even when they're slower.

  4. A max speed of 3.71 meters per second is ridiculously fast, and faster than you might realize. As we know, the player’s base speed is 1.6 meters per second. Players can sprint at a speed of 3 meters per second for 3 seconds, with a 5 second cooldown. Averaging these two speed values together means the total average player speed is 2.125 meters per second, assuming a player holds down the sprint button with no breaks. This means that at the maximum speed of 3.71 meters per second once in line of sight of a player for some time, a Moroi runs almost 75% faster than the player’s maximum sustained speed. This easily makes the Moroi the most dangerous ghost to try to escape from late in the game, and if you do not have a hiding spot nearby you will almost certainly be caught.

  5. The zoomie of this ghost omg I'm rolling dead 🤣😂 0:21 and what dance is she doing on that chair! I did have a phantom yesterday that zoomed so fast when I called it's name. I never seen one run so fast in its life you would have thought I had dounts to share or something. I went around the corner and I guess she was mad I didn't bring dounts and zoomed right into my face and I was like girl you need a tik tack yo breath stank!

  6. while the max speed of the Moroi is impressive, it goes to show how rare it is to see this ghost at it's full potential by how many people are completely surprised by learning that the Moroi is actually significantly faster than a Rev. Personally, via actual gameplay and watching others play, I have never even considered that a Moroi might be faster than a Rev.

It's so rare to actually experience this top speed. You essentially need to be playing on one of the large maps with 0 sanity and have a ghost room at the end of a long corridor and cursed hunts to have the acceleration go for long enough.

Still, very cool information to learn.

  7. I'm curious. How long does it take a Moroi to get to that 3m/s mark? I think that even if the Moroi can be faster, the fact that the Revenant instantly goes to 3m/s makes it more dangerous when it sees a player.

  8. I took a year off playing, came back to play with my daughter, our second ghost encounter was Moroi, an impossibly fast Death Lots of equipment was lost, and one important lesson learned 😂🤣

  9. I'll be honest i thought the thaye was faster because yesterday i was playing some phasmo with a friend he pulled the heart pin on a voodoo doll then suddenly i just hear like incredibly fast thumping around the house and i was just fearing for my life

  10. A few days ago I was looking for a video that explains, shows the ghost speeds and how the speeds of the ghosts are affected, but I only found older videos without the newer ghosts or just snippets of random gameplay. And here are you giving me the EXACT answers I needed, thx mate love your content.

  11. That's interesting about the footstep speed comparison. I guess that explains why The Twins step at roughly 101 BPM and 135 BPM, which are both slightly exaggerated from the 10% they should be away from the base ghost speed, 115 BPM. Having the footstep sounds scale slightly more than the actual speed scales makes the ghosts a little easier to identify by ear.

  12. What was the stutter/slow during the moroi footage where she didn't seem to move (or moved painfully slow) for a few seconds, and what was up with the double footsteps (like a trip sound) from a few videos?

  13. Next Patch: So we buffed the Speed of the Revenant now it goes 6 m/s
I would love to see the Revenant get a buff to speed cause it just feels natural having the Revenant the fastest ghost in phas
