Can you BEAT THIS? [Episode 7] | Phasmophobia Academy

In this Phasmophobia series you have to figure out the ghost on your own completely based on behavior. Do you have what it takes to complete this?

  1. I think this is a Moroi? I'm not sure. I love these videos!

Edit: heck ya! I thought it was a demon at first, until it started speeding up as santiy went down.

  2. You've improved the concept of these vids, not giving away with many comments! However I still see you use the UV light to figure out/identify a ghost when you don't need to, or otherwise would be too easy, and you'd have a shorter video than a longer one! I really hope to see you use only the Salt when it becomes relevant to the ghost. 😀

  3. I got cocky and was 100% sold on Twins after it hunted from the living room after knocking on the window, in addition to it being just a hair slow on the first hunt and just a hair fast on the living room hunt. Skipped to the end and missed all the Moroi action

  4. Wow this was much harder with your finger doing the speed tempo of the ghost because I can't tell if it was normal, slow or fast, without hearing, but I noticed the change of pattern, and I guessed correctly, YAY GO ME! This is definitely more harder but good for us to learn it this way. Also love the name, Phasmophobia Academy.

  5. I think this episode was a big improvement! Your movement seemed a little sloppy but I think you were just so preoccupied with not giving away ANYTHING this time. I greatly appreciate that, especially compared to last episode where you fully explained your strategy testing the hunts with the lights off, which was basically telling us it was a Mare without saying its name. I much prefer guessing the ghost AND guessing your strategy! Larry and Steve are adorable. It would be funny if you put up different images each episode hahaha!

  6. Ah it's been a while! New official intro now neat! I would do 1 of these per day without issue 🙂

    I think it's a Moroi.

Oh! we got ghost hiding now! Neat!

    Yep! GG 🙂

  7. It didn't sound particularly fast or slow, so it's not a Deogen, Hantu, Revenant, or Thaye. It accelerated while chasing, so not a Jinn. Too fast for Twins. The ghost's speed was faster in the 3rd hunt, so it's down to Moroi, Raiju, or Mimic. It was even faster on the 4th hunt, so not a Raiju. Ghost's behavior was consistent between hunts, so probably not a Mimic, so the ghost is a Moroi.

  9. This one was harder in format, like nightmare mode, lucky the ghost was easy. More of it please!

  10. Gotta love Larry & Steve, such a cute couple…

And the ghost's speed really made this ghost clear this time the longer the mission ran.
Great video as always, thank you very much!

  11. I love these videos, and I really love how you added the finger movement for the footsteps. I jokingly say I'd be a Yokai because of my trouble with sounds, haha. Also, you've taught me I need to get much better at differentiating Raiju and Moroi in no-evidence runs, aka I need to get better at paying 100% attention. ;P It surprises me how quiet Moroi have been on the paramic, given it's their other curse method (my mic is off somewhere, so it's my only curse method). Also I hadn't realized they were actually slower than regular ghosts at higher sanities, I'd thought it was the normal pace. I have much to learn. 🙂

  12. Right now, having watched until 7:40 , I believe this ghost is a Moroi. The reason I think so is that with each hunt, it kept getting faster and faster. Only the Moroi has that kind of sanity based hunting speed.

  13. Yiss, I was right! It's pretty hard to hear the footsteps when the ghost is far but you tried to help out and it helped me with figuring out the ghost 😀 Was a pretty obvious one though, I think with another ghost this would be way more difficult. Can't wait to challenge myself with your next video ♥

  14. This was a big improvement in the series imo, big kudos for taking people’s suggestions <3
What are your opinions on doing videos like this giving even less away, are they still fun for you to do?

  15. Quite enjoying these. Just finished watching the last of the 7 existing, and so far, am 7 for 7. Although I did have a couple that it was only at the tail end of the video that I figured it out.

  16. Heh, thought it was a "normal speed" ghost at first, but then around the third hunt I noticed it speeding up even when it wasn't near the Paramic. Pretty quick run!

To be absolutely certain, I would've taken 3 sanity pills (and then drained about 10% again in the dark) to get around 60-65% and see if the ghost still hunted and slowed down, but it certainly wasn't necessary. (of course you then said this at the end of the video, silly me!)

  17. May have missed some points, but since it was on the garage and knocked on the window on the living room and started a run there i thought it was twins, maybe a mimic. The speed wouldn't make sense for the twins, maybe the change in speed from early to late stages, but still thought it was a twin. Damn, back to the drawing board
