What ghost is this in your opinion?
It was fun checking off ghosts. In the end I had a pretty narrow list and the smudge gave it away because of that long period of time. Cheers, these videos are fun 🙂

this one was pretty easy because you kept time for us. If you did not tell us how much time passed between hunts, it'd be harder.

I ruled out many ghosts when it was hunting, so definitely not a hunting based ghost (speed-wise like Rev, Deo, Moroi, Hantu, Raiju, Thaye, or specialty during hunt like Myling footstep, Yokai hearing, Phantom blinking). Also I didn't feel any ghost specialty outside hunt so I guessed it was a Spirit, and the smudge stick at the end also basically a big take away to the ghost.

I am thinking shade until you mentioned the amount of time since you smudged – so… but the shade would be less aggressive. Spirit, maybe?
26:22 The ghosty had rehunted at beyond the 3 mins mark which means a high probability of ghosty being a Spirit.
30:43 With it hunting again at just over three minutes that pretty much clinches it being a spirit to me.

Spirit (only got it after the 3 minute smudge duration, before that i was picking between like 6-7 ghosts)
btw i love the explanations you give because i often forget about the little details that rule out ghosts, it's nice that you still mention them even if you don't say which ghost it rules out
for example i didn't know the spirit had a 3 minute smudge duration, i only knew that it was longer than normal so it's cool that you keep track of the time to make sure everyone notices it
31:20 , it should be a spirit in my opinion , because spirits are vulnerable towards smudge sticks more than other ghosts

One thing you could do is put the ghost you're thinking in the book and cut it out of the video. You get the money and doesn't spoil the video
I actually did a fun guess at the beginning of the video and chose the spirit because I thought it would be funny cause it's such a basic ghost and after the first smudge test I was like "damn, seems like my fun guess might actually be right". I absolutely love the different ways of testing for all the different ghost types. I think this series is a good help for casual players like myself because I never really pay attention to smaller details only to the main evidence stuff but getting a sense for smaller things will actually help to rule out certain ghosts much faster and potentially makes the game much less dangerous if you can prepare for the left over ghosts. Thanks so much for doing these kind of videos!

Yes, had it right this time! <3 It was pretty obvious with the hunting behaviour but until then I tended towards Yokai, Obake or Spirit – glad I got it right at the end 😀 Can't wait for the next video 😀

I like the paramic use in combination with the sanity tracking to potentially identify one of our new friends early (assuming that was an intended part of your strategy xD You seemed to have changed your mind shortly after, though, to go directly for a hunt check instead).

That was a lot trickier that the first one! After a while I thought Yokai because it didn't seemed to sense the flashlight but no. I was stuck between Spirit, Goryo and Obake but the smudge test gave it away: the Spirit!
