Tarot cards wouldn't make sense in phasmophobia because they're used during readings to give a person insight to past, current and future events based on the person's current path at the time of the reading. Not ghost hunting.

Re Tarot cards: They are often associated with providing a means of entry into the world for demonic forces. They should be left well alone! Presumably, the presence of the cards in the game is just showing us the reason for the haunting?

In order for you to do you fortune telling or any sort of tarot reading, your talking to spirits, entities, deities and other spiritual beings. Tarot also is used to talk to the dead. So yes Tarot definitely fits into tarot. It's good way to talk to spirits more inadept. It's called Spiritual guidance too. Tarot and Oracle cards are like Ouija boards but 10 times safer.
