I 100% agree with Psycho regarding the Mare change. Televisions and Computer Monitors are obvious light sources. So it'd be normal for a Mare to avoid the TV Remote and Computer Keyboard interactions, since they'll activate obvious light sources. Also, Mares should have an increased chance to turn OFF Televisions and Computer Monitors in the same logic.

what makes you the most excited about the update?
I'm not down with the candle change, I love having extra candles on site! It's so helpful for challenges where you have no flashlights to mark a location especially on bigger maps.
i think the candle change to the ones within houses is pretty much necessary, because since the ghost hunting candles are consumables that would just make them somewhat useless and most people would probably not bring them at all, if there's a free version to be used

Adding game pad is whatever. Was never interested in a console release and using a gamepad to play Phasmo. I cannot picture playing Phasmo with one. Too clunky. Not accurate. Slow and inaccurate turning. I’m sure dropping items will be finicky. I just love binding my buttons.
For how long this update took, it feels very underwhelming. But we'll see how it plays. I'm gonna rage if they didn't fix shades hunting in the same room as the player.
Having no shadows is stinky. At least give us an option, for those of us with a decent GPU that can make a good attempt at it. Maybe that's just for candles – I hope so.
Also, not being able to pick up house candles? I understand they want to charge us for candle consumables, but really?
I like that a DOTS ghost photo counts as a ghost photo.
I hope the ghost doesn't start too close to you in DOTS mode or missing it will be annoying.
Requiring a ghost photo to now actually be in the book for the objective will be annoying, unless it's a DOTS ghost.
So wait does this mean every ghost in the game can give you the frost breath effect?
Yay! Now instead of managing losing all our items on death and having to buy more, we have to manage that AND consumables! We make more money, but have to spend it all each run! Hooray! This seems fun! =( Also, nerfing the in-map candles makes no sense. It makes even LESS sense when the devs spent all this time talking about how they wanted to make things make MORE sense with this update. It's almost like they don't know what they're talking about… or just lied. Make up your mind, guys. Do you want candlelight to help with sanity drain or not? You can't have some candles work and others not. That's not how light works. It's especially bad when you're making protection items consumable. It's like you're intentionally hating on fun before the players can even TRY to have it. Even worse, no content? No new map to play? No thought? Really? We waited a year and a half for NERFS?!
Anything about it being on consoles?
They should rename the crucifix bc it's not an actual crucifix it's just a normal cross with no Corpus on it
Would be cool if you bring back a used crucifix you get 50% off for the next one you buy 😛

Its incense because there are different types of non-smuge incense
If the candles in the map can't be moved and have no use in evidence or sanity, then they should just remove them or better have them be usable for different ghost interactions or better ghost events, sort of like when a ghost blows up the room lights? Certain types of ghosts can light up the all the candles at once. Just adds another tool for elimination.

I wonder if you use youre crusefix but its not used by the ghost if you still lose it .
From what I heard (I didn't phasmo back then), they disabled the turning on of equipment because the game didn't differentiate between equipment in peoples hands versus equipment on the ground. This allowed people to turn on other player's equipment during hunts causing them to die.
I'm guessing it was disabled until they had the time to figure out how to recode it to stop that kind of trolling.
