First VR Game Ever on ASYLUM – LVL 572 Phasmophobia VR

For my first ever VR experience I decided to do solo Asylum in Phasmophobia… Maybe not my best idea but it was AMAZING! I absolutely love VR and it did not make me motion sick! Expect A LOT of VR awesomeness to come to the YouTube. Both today and tomorrow I am releasing 3 videos per day instead of 2! Happy Halloweekend everyone! Much love and I’ll see you during the streams 😀

I stream every day live at 19:00 (7PM) CET over on https://www.twitch.tv/insym

  2. Depending on your pc specs, switching your Index down to 90hz mode might help the lag (assuming you were using 120hz mode). I play Phasmophobia VR with a RTX 2060 and Ryzen 5 3600 in a 90hz WMR headset on max settings and it runs pretty smoothly and still looks fine.

  3. This was cool. I'm sure it will take awhile to get used to. I'm sensitive to smells so I never thought of new electronics smell in your face. That would make me sick too. lol I missed the Halloween stream. Twitched unfollowed me from your channel. I had to check because I wasn't getting notifications…
I love how you take pictures with an invisible camera. xD Thanks so much for the entertainment as always. <3 You're a brave boy doing VR alone in this!

  4. Pro tip from a long time VR user: turn on snap turning. Smooth turning locomotion even makes the most acclimatized VR users sick. Also, getting a smoother framerate helps too. Try to adjust your resolution scaling settings for the most comfortable experience.

  5. to fix the cage effect you need to accurately assign your play space (give yourself a tiny bit of extra space if you never want to see the borders) in the headsets settings
    🙂 hope you enjoy VR.

  6. BRUH WHY YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED THE LAB BEFORE PLAYING PHAS, CUZ YOU DONT KNOW TO USE THE KNUCKLE CONTROLLERS…. WHEN YOU WANT TO DROP SOMETHING, YOU JUST TAKE YOUR HAND OFF THE CONTROLLER… LIKE IN REAL LIFE!

  7. Lag most definitely comes from streaming. VR run-speed is a little bit faster. The sickness and smell vanish after some sessions. As soon as you feel sick, stop and take a good long break.

The best tips you get for VR: Disable your playspace grid and buy a door matt to stand on. In hot days, use a fan to get a feel of where you are looking at.

  8. When you are in VR you can reduce the resolution thats being shown on the desktop monitor to eliminate lag, I only play in VR and prolly have a worse pc and don't lag at all once making the desktop game smaller. Hope this help!
