I had a similar "paid actor" moment today. I was playing in tanglewood on professional difficulty and i was certain it was a Yurei cause it closed the front door without hunting. I needed the last evidence but it wasn't freezing yet, so i went to get the spirit box. I asked if anyone was there and the box literally said "Get out." And that's when I found it was a Yokai
A short while ago I played on high school. I played with people who were new at the game and they said „Take it slow now, you don’t need to know the ghost again in the first minute.“
So I thought „Sure, I’ll just take the parabolic microphone to see where the ghost is and let them find out the evidences.“
Guess what the first thing was that I heard right after entering the building…
