Ghosts now Leave FINGERPRINTS DURING HUNTS! – Phasmophobia Patch Notes v0.26.4.3



I LOVE THIS SO MUCH YOU HAVE NO IDEA! This is one of the best changes ever in Phasmophobia! I absolutely love fingerprints in this game and now they will be left EVERYWHERE!! The #phasmophobia patch notes for v0.26.4.3:
Fixes
1. Fixed a bug where the Activity Monitor values weren’t synced between players.
2. Fixed a bug where several lights would not light up equipment items and would cause them to be pitch black.
3. Fixed a bug where the salt would despawn if the host disconnected.
4. Fixed a bug where players would not always die. (Thank you for the bug reports)
5. Potential fix for being able to take footstep evidence photos for a Wraith.
6. Potential fix for the main door sometimes being open during a hunt.
7. Fixed a bug where the ghost could see through doors, closets and lockers if the host was dead.
8. Fixed a bug where you couldn’t light candles if you had two lighters in your inventory.
Changes
1. The ghost will now leave fingerprint evidence when opening doors in a hunt. This will help situations where the ghost room is in an area with no doors.

  1. Have an idea for the main door issue, instead of closing the front door the ghost leaves it open but the house is enveloped in a ghostly forcefield which can't be passed through. This would also fix the players being able to glitch the door. So during the hunt u will run to the door and hit an invisible wall. Also will make it impossible to tell a hunt by hearing the door close.

  2. me and my brother we notice lately that there is a bug in the microphone and not always work after a march. (btw its not the the fault of our microphone cause we talking through discord) its possible to be a glitch to the game? can anyone tell? and if it is can report this to Dk? This is rare to me but when we play together that issue almost all the time happend to my bro

I don't know what makes me so happy about them, but they often save my whole day and bring my mood up when it's completely down to the ground. I find them highly entertaining and they are often the reason why I still have motivation left on bad days. You probably know this, but with your contact you brighten up many moments of so many people and give pure happiness and laughter to them. What you are doing here on YouTube is incredible and I just wanted to remind you of that, thank you again for posting such great content.

  4. i hope DK doesnt overwork himself he is one of the best dev´s out there and i would love to see what a 1.0 release of phasmophobia would look like even if its not a triple A title.I would tell him to keep up the good work but dont burn yourself out love that game and your work…. because its one of the few games that can accualy get me creeped out in this day and age. salute

  6. Potential Master Difficulty. Tell me what you guys think, everything from professional difficulty and then some

    keep in mind its called Master Difficulty for a reason and these are just ideas

    1. upon location entrance only, the Ghost now will "usually" be outside and far from its favorite room While Sanity is between 100 and 85 but its not 100% a guarantee. this mechanic will be selected on Master Difficulty at random

    2. Below 85 and above 65 sanity the ghost will now wander a bit wildly and become noise active even possibly going into its ghost room

    3. Below 50 sanity the ghost will spend most of its time near or in its favorite room unless its trait is its likes to wander which it potential will depend on where the lights being on and off

    4. You can no longer hear the ghost stomping during HUNTS unless the ghost has passed through salt during the hunt, even if the salt has already been stepped in but the effect lasts only for a few short meters

    5. You can no longer see your breath for freezing ghosts

    6. If you smudge a freezing Ghost, the Ghost will no longer be visible to see during ghost events and during hunts with "the naked eye" Photo and cameras will be about it and from a dead players view

    7. Fingerprint Ghost now can no longer leave finger prints until it has hunted at least once

    8. During hunts doors now will open and shut wildly in front and behind the ghost several meters when the ghost is close and has line of sight of a player, making an attic smudged freezing ghost very dangerous

    9. The ghost if already in a dark room may not remain in the area too long if the light has just been turned on unless the ghost likes multiple players around it

    10. The ghost will tend to not roam into and remain in already lighted area

    11.The temperature can only rise in room or hallway if the breaker is on and the light to that area is also on

    12. The heart beat close ghost proximity noise indicator for hunts and ghost events will have longer pauses between each heartbeat

    13. The ghost will be less likely to turn the breaker off unless its reported or its trait is flickering lights

    14. It is now easier to accidently trip the breaker due to too many lights and power sources on, including tvs, radio, computer etc due to stronger ghost presence master difficulty

    15. increasing sanity with pills to 85% as a trade off result will make the ghost automatically trip the breaker and roam the darkness and make its special ability 3x as common to be triggered

  7. We had a High-school-Gym-Wraith (🙄) and a Tanglewood-Poltergeist today and couldn't get ANY fingerprints… We checked sooo thoroughly!
    I hope fingies aren't broken! 😬
