New Challenge idea: Only 3 star ghost photos 🙂
Gotta say, I miss Photo Randomiser – that was such a fun challenge. ❤
Perfect investigation bonus should require: Ghost photo, bone photo, then variety of at least four different photo categories (Dirty water, Interaction, Fingerprint, Cursed object, Ghost writing, Disturbed salt, Footprint, Burned Crucifix, Dead body). Variety of the pictures should matter. What kind of ghost investigator takes 9x Disturbed salt photos and calls it a day?
This way, even with the option to delete failed photos, perfect investigation bonus would not be as easy as it is today. Maybe they will add more photo varieties in the future, like "Interaction" could be split in to multiple different categories. "Interaction: Knock on window", "Interaction: Throw of an item", "Interaction: Touch door", "Interaction: Flushed toilet".

i've been having lag and screen tearing since the big update. not sure why
I'm at 15 tries and only lucked out once from a Polter explosion. Ugh. Map is kinda small for testing.
I think they should make it so that only the host can delete photos so that people cant troll by deleting photos or make it that you can ONLY delete 2 star or 1 star photos or photos with no stars, that they shouldn't allow you to remove 3 star photos, and that you cant take more than 1 type of photo so that its more difficult like the salt photo can only be taken once. And that the photos have some sort of Priority that it looks for the ghost first for example and then the other stuff so you dont take an interaction photo while trying to take the picture of the ghost
The simplest, and probably best, solution to photos is this: don't write blank photos. It stops public lobby trolls from filling book. It stops being screwed by the host photo sync issue (we all see different images in photo) thus having the clean ghost photo not count because host did not register, and would not require an overhaul of the journal. Also blocks future problem of deleting the 'wrong' photo.
Bonus would be a dedicated slot for JUST ghost photo and allow that to overwrite with 3* if it is 1 or 2.
It’d be cool if they just put the photo money in before the multiplier, that would help in incentivizing taking those riskier photos

For photos, they could at least have their code test for all types of photos and output the one with the highest score right?
So if a 1 star salt is found but also a 3 star ghost then obviously return the ghost photo instead.
They just took things I really like about the game away. I love asylum, and hallway ghost
Oh yah, @Insym IDK if you're still having problems with lag, but so have I, and I had to change my quality settings to Balanced. (under FidelityFX)
I have a very good computer as well, but this seemed to fix my problems until there is a possible patch update. You might be able to get away with quality setting since you're graphics card is probably a bit better, but my CPU is probably about the same as yours and so is everything else. Hopefully it works next time you play, though.

Phasmo updates move at an absolute glacial slow pace and never seem to have things that.. are extremely simple and fix extremely frustrating player experience

They could maybe set it up to where it prioritizes the ghost photo if there is more than one thing to photograph. Then you'd for sure get your ghost photo, and it doesn't negate the rating system.
Can an Onryo first normally hunt and then use it's candle ability instantly to hunt again?(or like if it has already used the candle 3 times and hunted and then uses some already lit candle to hunt again instantly).
The Console update is more important than any major updates for the game as it is currently. Will double their sales so any complaints on that fall on deaf ears. And for good reason.
Was doing this weeks challenge and I walked into the house only for an immediate hunt. I think oh nice quick demon round. Hide, leave ,got it right. Only to remember about the achievement after I’d gotten into the van 💀💀
God so much mood about the ghost photos. Getting a 2 star photo really nerfs my desire to finish objectives bc like. Ok no perfect game anymore. Gonna just head out now that I know the ghost byeee
What would be awesome I wouldn't think be too hard for the photo system is rework the stars and make the star count be item based, for example salt, candle blow out, etc be 1 star; throws, windows, doors, etc 2 star; ghost picture, interactions, cursed object, etc be 3 star. Also maybe make a perfect game 2 stars and up but that for their interpretation. Just a suggestion
they just need to change a perfect game to require specific photos, like bone, ghost, cursed object, and ignore the 3 star requirement. another options is to require 5 unique photos, intead of 10 3 star photos. i think there are only like 8 or so unique photos, with fingerprints being a variable, so requiring 5 would be somewhat difficult, but wont ruin your game if you get a 2 star photo
And for not boosting the photo system by adding "delete the photo" just use the previous thing where you can only take 5 photos per camera soo people can't spam photos and delete them
Insym always has the best luck when it comes to bones in Phasmo xD 7/10 I have to skip the bone because it loads itself into a spot I can't find or get to. And I'm not sure I want to get started on the Ghost barely giving me anything to work with even on professional xD
