Have You Seen The Secrets of The Moroi? – Phasmophobia New Update

Welcome back to Phasmophobia! In this video we explain everything about the new Moroi ghost! What it’s weakness, strength and hidden abilities are! I really enjoy all the new ghosts they have added. Which new ghost is your favorite?

NOTE: There is one more hidden ability that I did not know at the time of recording this video. Psycho figured out that you can also get the curse by getting whispers or footsteps (not salt footsteps) on the paramic. So you can even get cursed without the spirit box!

  1. I think it would be cool if when you lose your sanity, your vision gets affected in some way, so you don't have to go back to the truck to know how much sanity you've lost.

  2. Is there any way to trigger the spirit box if the game doesn't detect a microphone at all? Finally got Phasmo yesterday, but I don't have a mic setup yet. Leaving the spirit box on in the ghost room has never triggered it, including after I've been pressing v as though I was using push-to-talk. And yes, specifically with spirit box ghosts. (Had a back-to-back hantu/mimic, made guesses based on if the ghost orbs seemed to have moved. Got it wrong both times. :d I've been too chicken to do speed tests yet, haha.) Am I immune to the moroi curse since I don't have a mic? lol And can the curse be applied if the spirit box does the auto-response to y'all having yours muted? (Which player would that then apply to anyway, hmm)

  3. I think Moroi is actually more scary than the other fast ghosts, because once you are 0 sanity and have no pills, it's just max speed ALL THE TIME.

Raiju, just get rid of electronics.
Rev, just break line of sight.
Thaye, just spend some time in the ghost room and it slows down eventually.
Deogen, just walk circles around it.
Jinn, just hide like with any other ghost.
Hantu, Keep the breaker on and avoid the ghost room.

Moroi? Once it gets fast, it'll probably stay that way, especially on multiplayer.

Once you add in that it can curse you just from identifying it (or using the paramic), I think it's S tier.

The only things that make this ghost manageable are:
    1) You can end the sanity drain with a pill if you notice it quickly enough
    2) Smudging it during a hunt is more effective, so it's easier to get to a hiding spot

Both sanity pills and smudge sticks RUN OUT!

  4. I have the new Deogen response on recording and got it by just asking "Where are you?" and it did the special response. I think it comes from any question and is just a rare occurrence similar to the Banshee scream.

  5. The Deogen is easily my favorite new ghost. Me and a few friends figured out everything about it, and how it prioritizes targets. It prioritizes whoever happens to be closest to it at the start of the hunt and will switch its target after being smudged if somebody else is closer. I followed it around as it was chasing my friend on high school. We tested this by having my friend stand in front of me and switching places after the hunt started. I was out in the open but it still chased my friend. Cool stuff!

Also can confirm: Moroi can, in fact, curse multiple people.
