As for UV, checking all doors, windows and light switches throughout the whole house is not necessary. Anytime you see/hear the ghost move a door, knock on a window, or flip a switch, that's when you can check with Ultraviolet.
Sometimes I even have difficulty looking out for emf5. You can only get emf levels when the ghost interacts with something, but not every interaction will give emf5. So you'll have to check for emf multiple times.
