  1. This would have been more doable with better hiding spots. The items could have been better, but I guess it’s not a true challenge if they make it easier. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m glad you didn’t edit out your failed attempts… makes us who haven’t been playing that long feel more comfortable to attempt these challenges. Hope you feel better! ❤️

  2. Even tho I hate it when I don't get a flashlight I was psyched to do this. And then you should have seen my eyes widen when I heard the speed. Still going to try it, but only on multiplayer. My anxiety can't handle single player.

  3. Nope, not a fan of no sanity + no defensive items challenges. Phasmophobia is loosing a lot of interest lately, with a general lack of regular content/updates and the fact most of the casual folks I played with all quit the game due to same issue and the just grindyness that has become part of the game.

I'm no expert on Phasmophobia by any means, but I think I'm going to try this challenge this way: starting with the Spirit Bix I'll walk around the entire map during the first minute, that way I'll have a higher chance at either ruling out the evidence or getting a response. If I hear something being interacted with (item throw, tent opened, light switched, etc.), then I'll run towards it with the E.M.F. and presumably have a good idea of where the ghost is at that time. As for the third item, either salt for ghost events, like Psycho did, or D.O.T.S. if I know where the ghost is (multiple interactions in the same area).
    All in all, the challenge looks fun to survive but I can see new players struggling with it, especially with the extra speed increase. Can't wait to try it.

  5. Yeah I didn't like this challenge at all. A flashlight would have been nice. I died a lot, and I guess it's evidence 2, because I completely whiffed on guesses based on missing evidence.

  6. This challenge gave me a lot more trouble than the weekly version of the apocalypse challenge. I basically had to go in guns blazing, find the ghost room within the 1 minute grace period and get a crucifix in there immediately if I wanted to get any evidence, then go back for the 2nd crucifix and more evidence items. I don't know why the devs would put a UV flashlight in the loadout if "flashlights = off" makes UV flashlights not work. They should've just left it out or kept it at tier 1.
    All in all I had a good time, it was nice that the challenge was actually hard.

  7. I love a good hunt-oriented/no sanity challenge, but it feels like the developers are dead set on the "you will play on Woodwind and you will NOT get even 1 incense" kind of difficulty for zero sanity/hunt based challenges which kind of makes them feel same-y and stale after a while.

    As usual excellent investigation work Potato Man; bad luck with the 2nd most boring ghost type in that third game.

    I'm still waiting for whatever changes they're going to give the yurei after all this time waiting.

  8. This challenge was okay, but I do hate the map. We also got fog both times, which my computer hates. We got lucky and got a Thaye right near the gate. Second ghost was annoying but we figured out it was a mimic. Havent done the third round yet.

  9. I absolutely hate the challenges where I cannot use skill to figure out the ghost. I am totally fine with 0 sanity. I am totally fine with 0 evidence. I am totally fine with low movement speed. I am totally fine with no sprinting. Hell, I am fine with 0 grace period. But don't take out smudge sticks if you give us 0 sanity and don't increase or lower the movement speed. I absolutely hate when this happens. I stopped doing challenge mode since the end of the last rotation and I didn't do any of them until they added achievements. This challenge is so bad that I cannot even hide. I had exact 1 hiding spot all matches and I always had to improvise. And guess what: as I was trying to gather evidence, I ghost hunted. Again, and again and again and again. Every 30 seconds. I didn't even have time to turn on the breaker after it was instantly turned off. Gave it 5 attempts. YOU CAN'T EVEN DO UV. Like wtf man. I know it's a "challenge", but this is straight up tedious. They screw up my entire muscle memory as a fan of 0 evidence and 0 sanity investigations. I only play my x9.5 modifier with perfect investigations. Plus CJ loves giving us the crappy stuff in terms of tools. I am so sick of it. I am wasting hours most of the time because of these rules when I can play for 30 minutes on 0 sanity and 0 evidence and make even more money (about 8k). Even the "official" difficulties are busted. You can easily have a x7 modier with great outcomes and 1 evidence. x5 as nightmare and x4 as professional. Like who needs a 3 seconds grace period outside of newbies in their first 50 hours? And even then, 1 second is enough once you know how hunts work. I am not bashing on the developers, I am bashing the difficulty and challenge systems. I was very vocal about the prestige system as well because it artificially increases the grind for a few pixels that doesn't affect gameplay, yet if you don't do it, you will be at a disadvantage later on if you change your mind so you have to do it anyway. I would've been more happy if the prestige system was automatic and didn't mean deleting your progress to start over with crappy tools for a badge and a preset slot (which nobody uses more than 2 and the all preset, let's be honest). I swear, the only reason I am still playing the game is because I find 0 sanity, 0 evidence very fun. I feel like I'm Sherlock Holmes.
