This objective has killed me several times! But it’s actually so much easier than I thought! The game developer shared with us how it works behind the scenes and it’s really easy to complete! I think this will eventually change, but for now there is no reason to risk your life versus a Revenant! I really like the new objectives in Phasmophobia and I do hope they will eventually change this one to make repelling the ghost required. Much love and see you during the streams!

My friend and I have actually been having problems with this one as it feels like it's almost a 50/50 chance of succeeding. The last time we played, we had a Banshee and we waited out its immunity frames before trying to smudge it but it never worked (we tried it 3 times, delaying it as much as we could and making sure it could see us to maintain the hunt on the target). Then another game it worked just fine.
So sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't and I'm not sure if it's the Ghosts bugging out (as they seem to have been doing lately) or if we're just not doing something right.
