Regarding the "No flashlight challenge", I feel that turning the brightness all the way so that you can see perfectly fine…kinda defeats the purpose of the challenge.
While I agree that not being able to see at all is not very fun, either as a player or a viewer, the point of the challenge is that you're supposed to find ways of coping with having limited vision. So turning brightness up all the way makes it not a challenge anymore.
Well, I suppose the constant drain on sanity of the darkness can be an issue in itself, it's not the purpose of the challenge.
As someone that works retail, I can confirm that no one reads…
Imagine if they made the Paramic Range Scale with the size of the map. A small map it's at short range. But a large map it doubles.
