  1. Should be extra objectives from the property owners, like dont exceed 5 minutes with the breaker on. Collect a certain item for them and bring out to truck. Make sure all taps are off before exiting.

  2. I played with my friend on willow and the only evidence the ghost gave us was freezing for 4 or 5 runs so we had to guess by behavior and the first ghost did like 3 in five minute so we thought it was an oni but is was twins

  3. I tried it and if u light the candle and hold other object other in ur hand and when u go in the house u can change ur item to candle again and it will be lit.(ofc when it is raining)

  4. What if the players could become cursed? Someone could become possesed with the spirit of the ghost (go silent and start hunting other team mates). Maybe the player who becomes possesed whould go to the "deadmode" and would have to do something to be able to get back to the game before the ghost kills everyone.

    I have never heard you ask the ghost "Where did you die?" It is SUPER funny to add that to the questionnaire. For instance, you can get answers to fill in even more gaps, which tends to make them even funnier.

    – Age at death: 37 yrs.
    – Time since death: 254 yrs.
    – Cause of death: Slipped.
    – Death Location: Attic.
    – Ghost Room: Kitchen.
    – Purpose: Revenge.
    – Feeling: Lonely.
    – Responds: Alone.
    – Kill Count: 0.
    ~End.~

    See what I mean? That 1 question can give an entirely different life story to make fun of.

  6. Wouldn't a silent ghost event be cool? Like, the ghost appears somewhere close to the player without making a sound or even a heart beat. Once you see it it triggers a time frame that makes it disappear.

  7. I guess more quests would be pretty fun. Or atleast more objectives that are not listened on this whiteboard. Like if you play Asylum or any other bigger map, you might figure out some puzzle and actually have to run around the whole map to get it. Therefore there should be lots of possible puzzles because someday every puzzle is known to every one.
    I also think that exorcism would be pretty cool, too like giving someone more money, or like skins for tools for the own character. I think it would be funny to exorcise the ghost while managing quick time events somehow. But you should have this possibility not on every game. You may find out IF you can do it after submitting the identified ghost. Therefore you need to go back inside and might not have any sanity pills left or what ever.

  8. I had an Idea for a sort of exorcism mechanic in Phasmo. Each ghost would have a different way you need to exorcise it (Haven't thought about what ghost needs what tools etc, but you get the idea, for example an Onryo exorcism would have to do with the candles). You can, of course, still leave the mission after finding out the ghost type, but for extra cash you can try and exorcise it.

    But if you use the wrong exorcism tools, the Ghost would become giga angry and the entire house would show redlight events and in general the entire house would be packed full of all types of ghost events. All that while there's also a cursed hunt happening, so you run through a redlighted house, a ghost event happening every 2 steps and you'll probably lose track of what's a ghost event and what's the real ghost trying to kill you. Maybe have the real ghost spawn somewhere completely different for extra difficulty, but I think that's enough already.

  9. You know what could be a cool second game mode. You know how the lore of the current game is your a investigator your job is to Identify the ghost so another team can banish it.

    Well this different game mode you are the banishment team instead you come to do the second part when you arrive in your truck you are given the info from the investigation team and know what kind of Ghost it us however now the ghost is pissed and you have to battle the ghost and the ghost has to get through your defenses that work because you know what your dealing with and it's banish or lose. Could be cool as a separate mode.

  11. There should definitely more things to do as regards the ghosts. One commenter I saw mentioned that it should be a lot more beneficial/not to find out the ghost type or get it wrong – which I totally agree with;- so why not combine them?
    At the moment, the game functions basically as ‘diagnosing’ the paranormal issue – so there should also be a part of the mission (maybe above a certain difficult or level to unlock) where an objective is also to get rid of them.

    For the malicious ghosts like demons, you have to grab a bible and read a passage while also shouting THEM POWER OF CHRIST COMPELS YOU’ or something like that. There could be clues in what it the ghost does or how it replies (via box or board) as to which passage actually works to get rid of it. Maybe you first have to contain the ghost to a cleansed area via smudge-stick type items and aided by crucifixes and/or candles to keep it there while carrying out the procedure. And this can switched up with the type -Maybe candles are needed for mares, holy objects for demons, EMF emitters for the electrical ghost (forgot the name). And if you get it wrong, the ghost can break from the cleansed area and start hunting – so the type of ghost is very important. Would also give a lot more purpose to the sensing objects to be able to trap it.

    For the friendlier ghosts, maybe you need to find the cursed object or other clues (maybe ghosts angry that they’re still around will scratch words/clues in the walls, and if you have a ouija board you ca ask). Maybe if the guard or stay in a certain room, you need to cleanse it with holy water while gently pushing them back to the spirit realm with (specific) bible verses.
    But if you get the ghost type wrong (treating it as friendly and using holy water in its room if it’s a demon, for example), or if the wrong object is used in the procedure, it angers the ghost and a hunt starts.
    You could ALSO give an actual purpose to the bone. You need to use it in the procedure (maybe it’s sometimes hidden in certain places too – such as a shallow grave outside which can be found with certain equipment, or under a floorboard), in order to banish the ghost. Maybe some ghosts require darkness for the procedure to work, or the power to be off – or all manner of variables.
    Just some thoughts 😉 it’s a great game already but It has so much more potential too, I love it

  12. It kinda makes me sad that there's only one way of dealing with the ghost and it always gets angry. I hope that developers can add the mechanic to help the ghost to pass on. Because there are so many instances where they say "lost", "lonely", "trapped", it kinda breaks my heart to know that there's nothing to be done except just identifying and running away because the entity becomes enraged. Maybe the team does it so somebody else can deal with the entity after, but still

  13. It would be nice if there were more optional objectives yes. But in what shape or form that should be, is difficult to think of.
    To add exorcism feels like a no-go, other ghost hunting games already have this. It would make phasmo a totally different game if that were to be added.
    Maybe something that has to do with the story of the ghost itself. How did he/she die.

    But to add something on top of investigating what ghost type it is, there is little to nothing to add. If you add anything out of character you get a whole different type of game, even though it is optional.

    Cursed possessions are already an addition to interact with the ghost.
    I'd love to have more spirit box interactions though. Age, Location and Aggression is not really a lot.
    Also the ghost could interact with more items in the house. Washing dishes, typing on a PC, opening the refrigerator, etc. There are more things to add.
    Another interaction that would be nice, is having a thermostat that can be turned up and down.

I read somewhere that it they want allow mods I wish they would it would be cool to see fan made maps or even change the Cosmetic of out items chage the flash light to be a lantern or whatever would be even cool if we were able to go to five night at Freddy's maps and we need to release the ghost before they kill us so much potential for great mods not hacks like making your light so bright or the never ending pills/smudge sticks but to further the game look at fallout they changed the whole map to a new world would be so cool to see phasmophobia do the same
