What if the Obake had a chance to not leave footprints and maybe have a chance to leave a special fotprint. This would make the obake easier to find in no evidence runs, it correlates with the Obake's strength and weakness and it makes it just a little bit trickier to test for Wraith.

The SOUND SENSOR is the best way to confirm a Myling. The graph will max out for mylings. Place a sound sensor in the room ghost room and monitor from the van. This item will come in super handy, especially on Nightmare mode. Try using a sound sensor even when you have all 3 evidences. You've found the ghost, place a sound sensor and monitor from the van. You'll see the reading reach the end of the chart, whereas the reading doesn't go as far with all other ghosts.
Insym the truth is you talk to much and loud… I get it is who you're but don't ask other people to do up the volume
In short the game is low volume comparison to your voice

Everyone has thoughts about this ghost type and the other ghosts are no exception. What you may already know in my fan stories is that he is 13, he was abandoned by his parents which got him mauled by a bear, he loves attention, and is a surprisingly sneaky ghost. He loves his friends but is oblivious to the irritation he causes others all because he wants to be friendly. Let's see what they think of the undead chatterbox Myling.
Spirit: Although they rarely see each other, every time they do its always well. He enjoys telling him about all the people he meets as an ambassador.
Wraith: Has a blast whenever he meets him as the two work amazingly well when covering news stories. Rarely, you can hear Myling through his mic.
Phantom: Although he prefers to not speak to not draw his attention, he admires Myling's quiet little steps as it has a unique scare tactic.
Poltergeist: Has been taking care of him for months and has loved every second of it. He's like the fun uncle as the two think alike on so many things.
Banshee: The closest thing to a best friend she can hope for, the two are almost never seen apart in public. The biggest gossip spreaders ever.
Jinn: Though he only seen Myling one time, it was not on good terms. Myling's loudmouth had stirred some trouble in his neighborhood.
Mare: Due to the ghosts that live in his home, he has unfortunately banned him from entering. He however cares as he gets him out of trouble often.
Revenant: Thinks of Myling as "The biggest and loudest fanboy ever. Hell, he even took my old evidence when they shuffled 'em up. Oh well."
Shade: Actively avoids Myling because once he gets talking it never stops and he never knows when to. His quiet feet spook him a lot as well.
Demon: She keeps him around because he knows everyone's secrets. Since she attacked Banshee, he has noticeably gone nervous around her.
Yurei: Sees him as a little brother but being annoying. Despite his efforts to shut him up, Myling still believes he could join the gang Yurei is in.
Oni: Would trample everyone between him and herself because the two LOOOOVE hanging out, much to the irritation to her boyfriend Yurei.
Yokai: She doesn't hate him; she despises his voice and his quiet feet sneaking up on her. Headaches plague her when he comes to see her.
Hantu: The two have become good friends after he raised money to pay for Banshee's hospital bills by winning the 2022 sprint championship.
Myling himself: Sees himself as lonely whenever he isn't near those he knows. He moved on past his trauma and accepted everyone else as family.
Goryo: You would think he would dislike this loudmouth, but the two actually love gaming together. "When he micspams, it's the funniest shit ever."
Onryo: Unlike his cousin Mare, the two have plenty of experience together. Mostly they argue over which Harry Potter book is the worst. Friends?
Raiju: Despite the fact that Raiju's rival Hantu was Myling's favorite, he still wishes to be friends. The only issue is Raiju's mother is Demon. Yeah.
Obake: "The kid? He is the (bleep) (bleep) snitch I ever (bleep) seen!" To summarize this, Myling snitched on him for getting Oni's, well, "Onifans."
Twins: The bro and sis duo see Myling as their older brother. They do everything together and even begged Poltergeist to let him stay. They won.
Mimic: Is glad he knows someone as dependable as him. His quiet feet ability helped Mimic with countless investigations, so he cherishes him.
Moroi: The only ghost that can get Myling to quiet down. His stories as a mafia boss are so intriguing that Myling can only listen in amazement.
Deogen: After finding out Banshee had a daughter with Hantu, he immediately tried to be friends. Issue is Deogen isn't like her mama, she bites.
Thaye: Sees Myling as a bit much but will adore him constantly. Though her elderly ears are hard of hearing, she understands him perfectly.
Myling's closest friends are Banshee Twins Oni Hantu and Goryo.
The ones who dislike him are Yokai Shade Obake Jinn Deogen Yurei and Phantom.
Those who care for him are Poltergeist Thaye Mare Yurei and Mimic.
Those he admires are Revenant Hantu Moroi Mimic Spirit and Wraith.
Ghosts he views as acquaintances are Spirit Onryo and Raiju.
The only ghost that he actively wants to avoid specifically because she nearly killed his best friend, is Demon.
The most infamous clashing pair of ghosts is Yokai and "The little sneaky kid" Myling. It can be easily summarized as "Her head hurts, he talks a lot and surprises her." One incident had Yokai having a migraine lying on Mare's couch snuggling her caring boyfriend Shade in a huge blanket in the dark while it rained, Myling was upstairs playing Battlefield with Goryo while he was visiting. He later snuck downstairs for a snack and watched the two from behind the couch quiet as he can be.
As the two went for a stealthy smooch because Mare was sitting in the chair beside them reading and drinking wine, he yelled at the top of his lungs something about "Ayo we got some Sussy bakas" or something along those lines resulting in an embarrassed and pain driven Yokai to chase him around the house with a frying pan much to the terror of Shade and much to the humor of everyone else in the home. Mare spit up his wine amused, Onryo watched from the hallway with a grin, Phantom woke up from his nap laughing, Goryo was playing memey chase music and laughing his ass off, Hantu paused his workout to see the chaos, and even Revenant stopped watching football to see this mess.
The chase wound up outside the house and now the entire neighborhood was watching the scene, the family of Raiju and his parents Jinn and Demon were watching silently from their bedrooms, Poltergeist and Thaye gave chase after Yokai trying to grab her pan, Oni Yurei and Moroi were driving by watching this madness, Banshee left Deogen with Hantu and immediately began chasing Myling trying to protect him, the Twins ran beside Myling yelling just like he was, and even Spirit and Wraith covered it in the 6 o clock evening edition of the News.
The video of a cackling Myling jacked up on Mountain Dew yelling like a hyena getting chased by a beetroot red Yokai wearing pajamas swinging a frying pan is possibly the funniest thing ever. This resulted in Mimic and Obake having to investigate this incident over "Disturbing the peace" or technically Disturbing the Dead because of how loud and chaotic the chase became. It ended with Mare having to sadly prevent Myling from entering his house due to how badly Yokai reacted to his little surprise, thanks to a temporary restraining order. Sure, it was funny but nobody wanted Myling to get hurt. Okay, maybe Yokai and Demon would've enjoyed it. Later, Myling apologized to Yokai and she responded by giving him a hug on the neck and saying "I never meant to hurt you, just please warn me before you scare me again or else I'll knock you out." He smirked and responded "Not in that bathrobe you won't" before running away laughing. I didn't know she could throw a slipper that hard. He then hugged her back and the two were friends again. For two days. The End.

My friends and I know to never use a curse item or the time goes to zero. Doesnt stop the more… Adventurous of us though (laughs as i use tarot and a friend uses the board while another uses the voodoo and mirror)

Hurry the fuck up with custom difficulty this shit would literally take a few days if that to program. Don't get me wrong I love this game, though it could be alot better. All of the ghosts probably have the same fade curve, it's just that the myling is quieter. On a larger map, where you can avoid having the multilevel sound muffling, you can probably do a clean comparison to verify they have the same curve… but the myling has to be closer to be heard.
Is a level 5 jump on the board still considered an emf level 5 as evidence?

It's much easier if its raining outside the house. Myling's footsteps sound becomes almost indistinguishable.

I had one the other night and it was way trickier than in the past, because you're right when you say it sounds further away than it actually is. If it sounds close, a Myling is actually REALLY close. It almost got me immediately one time because it was so hard to tell where it was actually at.

Hi insym. I have a super easy way to see when it s a myling or not. When i have a mylinh suspicion or if i want to eliminate the myling from the ghosts list, i use a dots. I choose a hiding spot and then i put a dots next to me, or somewhere where i can easily see it blinking. As the dots makes a lot of light, it makes very easy to concentrate on the blinking and footsteps noises. If you are on No evidence challenge, then indeed, i use my flash light but i dont hold it in my hand. I hide myself and then throw the flashlight at my feet or where i can see it blinking. And it is make it also easy! I can concentrate on the blinking and footsteps without any risks to be found by the ghost, as i don t hold it in my hand.
