We got EMF lvl 4 a total of 4 times, but of course it’s still a Jinn -.- … Each time you get EMF lvl 4 there is a 50% chance it will give you EMF 5 if the ghost is an EMF-ghost, this means that we had a 0.5^4 = 6% chance to not get EMF 5 here. This shows you that even at a very high level you can just get super unlucky and make mistakes.

As long as Phasmophobia is a sort of glitchy game, I'm okay with any changes made to the game. I think that the glitch element makes it a bit scarier because not everything is guaranteed while it also reduces the scare factor because it makes it seem like more of a videogame. So, the game is not extremely scary and you will have something different every time you play it.
Only explanation is that it’s a weak jinn, so it’s not as powerful as it’s siblings.

Yeah EMF can go to 3 or 4 loads of times but still be able to go to 5.
If you don't see fingerprints when the door makes a sound. Throw it out.
If your lowest temp is 4 or 5. Throw it out.
It was definitely EMF. It was the only thing it potentially could have been. EMF can sometimes just be RNG but temps and fingerprints are usually 100%.

Fyi the thermometer has a spread of plus/minus 3 degrees C. So if you got down to 3 degrees C it should still count for freezing temps. You had it at 3.1 at one point so that should be close enough to count as a clue. Usually if its not freezing you wont see below 6-7 at the lowest end.

Sanity decrease for Jinn only happens when it uses its ability, and only affects players within 3 meters. Turning off the power source prevents its ability.

I had a ghost destroy and glitch all my cameras after killing each of my teammates 1-by-1 in a row. There are just times where it is more valuable to walk away.
