  2. This is an absolutely FANTASTIC series for someone like me. I love the concept of the game, but I am WAAAYYYY too twitchy to play it alone, I refuse to play with randoms, and I don't have friends. I did BUY the game just to see if maybe I could go it alone, and I will not get a refund because I want to support the developer of this awesome game, but at the end of the day, I just can't. I am too scared. I did guess the ghost correctly at Evidence #2 based on its behavior, and seeing Evidence #3 flash by just made me feel super happy about it. Thanks for doing what you do! People like you are why I don't have an adblocker.

    Got the spirit box.
    I'm not sure of the other clues, but I'm guessing that you saw an orb because you stopped looking for one.
    Mostly its behavior. Seemed fascinated with flicking the lights on and off.
    A poltergeist would have left fingerprints and a mare wouldn't have turned the lights on.

  4. Was actually quite easy, no visible breath == no temps, no fingerprints == no fingerprints, no writing == no writing
    spirit box check
    ghost orbs and emf are both bullshit and never show up when they are supposed to (didnt see either in the video, although i skipped a few minutes in)
    So its a Jinn.

  6. Is it just me, or does he never properly finish his investigations? xD
    That said, a lot of it points towards Jinn. Doesn't really do anything until you go into its' room and then messes with the light a lot. Which, you know, is a Jinn thing to do. Oni would do that regardless of where you are and Mare would have turned off that light in the hallway. Not Yurei, because Sanity. Not Wraith because localized. Not Banshee, Phantom or Mare for the same reason. Not Demon because it wasn't aggressive at all. Spirit and Shade are always wildcards, but there were no fingerprints at all and the book was left untouched so it is probably not either of them.
    Yeah, pretty much has to be Jinn. Not sure if I saw a ghost orb on that camera but EMF5 and Spirit Box point towards that too.

    EDIT : It's Jinn. Yay.

  7. at 13:35 i have my guess i think it is a jinn because once i saw spirit box and ghost orb i ruled out fingerprints and freezing temps so the only one left was EMF 5 and that makes it a jinn
    i really like this way of playing phasmophobia where you have to look for clues in a video to find out what the ghost is

  10. That's an easy Jinn I think.

    From the evidences:
    – Spirit Box – immediate response ez
    – Still no Fingerprint
    – got nothing on door, switch, window
    – No Writing
    – got nothing on the journal
    – No Freezing – already hit ~5°C should be no freezing
    – EMF 5 – lucky to got this to make this ez
    – Still no Ghost Orb – sometimes need a good angle for the orbs

    So we've got Spirit Box and EMF 5 that's between Jinn and Oni,
    so I bet on Jinn since writing should be easier on this case than the orb.

    Another thing to note that the Ghost not that active when nearby but sometimes Oni got bad roll too so won't be seen active

  11. Pretty late to the party, guessing it is Jinn because it was a yes to the Spirit Box but no to the Fingerprints and Freezing Breath. Narrows it down to just 2 ghosts, Jinn and Oni. But can't be Oni as it didnt move objects at all.

    It didnt even interact with lights, but am still guessing Jin because the breaker didn't go off once.

    Edit – Yep, 2/3 correct so far in the series.

    X = Oni
    Y = Jinn

I fucked up lol, thought I saw Fingerprints on the mirror but it was just blurry XD With my fake evidence I was between Wraith and Spirit but then it stepped into salt and it wasn't attacking so I was like "What is it doing?". I missed the Ghost Orbs and I wish that the EMF had characteristic sounds for each level but still was fun!

  17. I was strongly thinking "Oni" with how active it got on the total activity, then I started to go with "Jinn".
    Still I felt 75% Oni, 25% Jinn. I also thought of 'Demon' (with how pissy it got when he kept asking questions), yet it would've been very aggressive from the start if it was.

Dont know if you'll see this as the vids a couple weeks old but wanted to thank you, this game absolutely terrifies me but your analysis and explanations are helping me get over it and slowly allowing me to be more useful to my investigation team instead of finding any excuse to get back to the van to "check the monitors"
