I Went Back to Level 1 in Phasmophobia and it Was Crazy

Welcome back to Phasmophobia! In this video we are going back to level 1 for prestige 9. This was one of the craziest level 1 journeys we’ve had. ENJOY!

  1. I love the Prestige system, it's such a smart feature! It's the perfect way to stay engaged with the game even after unlocking everything (especially for a casual player) and always have a reason to keep grinding. This is exactly why I never get bored of Phasmo! I wish more games had something like this.

Thanks for the content, Insym! ❤

  2. I have 200 h in the game for the house maps I can figure out a room with the mirror most of the time unless I get a bad spawn and all it gives me is a wall. For farmhouse maps it's not as good and for medium and big maps it doesn't really tell me anything at all

  3. The devs need to add a voiced truck driver to offer hints, conversation and interaction to help guide new players (and add a voice to the devs to retort back to player “opinions”.

  4. I did not minded the christmas aesthetics… is just a silly event i don't even actively participated… i rather have more updates in gameplay and the " coming soon" features, but, agree, the level of effort for Christmas vs what they did for Blood moon. is like 60% lower.

  5. I like mirror, except on the large maps where idk where anything IS…. High school is the worst, because the classrooms look mostly the same. especially at a glimpse. As long as you aren't facing nothing (like empty wall) you are usually good to tell where the ghost is with it. Large maps are just honestly broken. especially the high school…. It isn't fun. Asylum is okay, because it's scary. High school is more frustrating than anything. If you can make a guide to high school, that would be great. But it would be better if they changed the map. I do full group, and we break apart to try to find the ghost. And if it's just not doing anything, we miss where tf it is. We use the cursed object too if we can. Ouji board is the only way I can, and even that I have to look up the room numbers because the rooms aren't actually numbered from what I can tell. Having 2 people run off with thermo, one with video cam (friend brings camera with tripod, flashlight, crux, because she hates the hunts), and one with emf isn't good enough sometimes.

  6. Funny you mentioned how dark Phasmo is. While playing, I noticed that. When I see other's videos, it's so much brighter. Never could get my game as bright. Then I was watching my video on YouTube to make sure it came out ok, and that was so much brighter. SMH

  7. So what's the best way to push to 50? For the customized options. Every guide i watch has to do with custom hunts. I'm having no problem finding the ghost out, I'm just making no money in professional. These salt and CI pics aren't cutting it 😂

  8. At 42:35 the ghost is in dots walking away from you. Not 100% sure but a Banshee should walk towards its target, aka you, while in dots therefore it had to be a phantom. Not going to pretend I saw that live but after rewatching I noticed it

  9. What you're saying at 41:00 is so true. Me and my friends play on Professional, and I usually do 2 evidence when solo. But every time we're waiting around for objectives or whatever I try to see that extra giveaway. Banshee scream, Obake hands, Deo spirit box, etc. It just feels good to look for something specific and actually see it

  10. When I went to California for a trip, I got a heat stroke and went blind for about 5-10 minutes. It was so scary and it was probably the only time I was legit freaking out in my 23 years so far. I'm glad to have recovered cuz it was genuinely unnerving. I broke my leg just several months prior to today but that didn't even give me a shock, it was hard learning how to walk again though

Thank you for your vids though, they are super helpful, and you are a really entertaining streamer

  11. As someone who mainly watches YT vids, I always love how high and mighty the doubters are when they win, like congrats you chose the 95% chance to win but its even funnier to see their reactions when they lose.

  12. I love knowing the ghosts tell. Sometimes you get a ghost that is just giving really stubborn evidence.

Maybe the room isnt really good for UV or it isnt showing foot prints in the salt. Or maybe there isnt items to throw. Maybe its too large for your dots to cover and the ghost just wont walk through them. The like gym at HS.

For example, we were stuck between 3 ghosts and literally could not get UV at tanglewood. Nothing was showing UV. Ghost was in the kitchen. Ghost wasnt turning off the lights. And we didnt get footprints in the salt. No window knocking either. It was frustrating.

We did notice that 1 person had lower sanity than the rest. And that same player also got a ghost event across the house. Even though we knew the ghost was in the kitchen and nowhere near that bedroom. It had just thrown a plate and about a minute later he got an event in that master bedroom.
He was sure it was in the bedroom but the orbs was showing us, it in fact, was not.

I was playing with 3 newbies and im a tiered player so i was really excited to prove to them it was a banshee and we could test it by letting the ghost hunt. We all sat in the living room having a ghost photo party while it was frantically running around the house trying to find the cursed player.

Still never got UV. But ghost solved.

It's hard to solve on singleplayer. I understand that. But still fun with friends!

  13. Hey Insym! During the video, you talked about how Phasmo doesn't have a lot of accessibility features. I happen to be one of those players who play with a disability (that being completely deaf in one of my two ears making distance and location of noises nearly impossible). There are actually cool ways to mitigate this sort of problem! One of them being, having distinct items [or sounds items make] in certain locations. This is how I was able to use sound in games like counterstrike where knowing your opponents location is extremely important to not getting killed, I really like using the tile in the tunnel of mirage as an example since its the only place in the middle of the map with tile. Something like this could at least be helpful with locating ghost interactions as well! You can already do it with some items like silverware and plates as they're usually kept in kitchens or in dinning rooms.
