The special demon achievement is going to take a long time. I was farming it yesterday on a custom difficulty in grafton farmhouse, starting at 50% sanity with 1 sanity pill in the loadout set to restore 20% sanity (to start off at 70%) and with sanity drain turned off so that if any ghost hunts within the first minute, it's either a demon or thaye. If there's no hunt within 1 minute, I quit and start a new game. After about 4-5 hours of doing this, I still hadn't seen a single hunt.
Seems like you can see more in the dark than I can, can you show your graphic settings or is there any advice besides maxing brightness?
