At 11:00, when the person you played with said "When the Shadow appeared, he could have killed both of us" thats not true. Ghosts like to appear randomly, and they are completely harmless. They can ONLY kill during a hunt, meaning Flashlight flicker.

Salt does not prove that it is a wraith. They can float, but they don't always float and can still cause footprints. It main usage is to find where the ghost is. Placing salt in areas that will be crossed more frequently (like outside of doors in the hallways) which can help narrow down the search.
