It has DOTS – but what is it? | Phasmophobia #shorts

While doing the weekly challenge (Audio Only) my teammates and I encountered this ghost. We’d narrowed it down to a couple of ghosts, but we would really need it to hunt to narrow it down even more. Because we didn’t have a video camera, we had to use a teammates headcam to watch for DOTS. Sure enough – it has DOTS. But my teammate didn’t see them and he was watching. It was CLEARLY DOTS – so… what is this ghost? Would you know from this evidence alone? Sending my teammate out of the room likely encouraged the ghost to give the evidence. Does that clue you in to our ghost type? If you said Goryo, you are right. The goryo has DOTS evidence that can only be seen with a video camera. AND it is more likely to provide this evidence when no one is in the room.

Remember, gaming should be fun!

  1. Goryo. One very annoying ghost if you have no evidence and a ghost in a large room. Because in larger rooms, ghosts usually don't change rooms at all. Sunny Meadows is one of the worst maps to test for Goryo as many rooms are only connected to Hallways that can't be a ghost room. So the ghost needs to roam very far in order to even change ghost room.
Also, smart thinking with the Headgear T1. Weeklys like this are really the only useful case. In all other cases, video cams are superior. Better image quality and you can adjust the position easier (especially, if you have tier II tripod).
