  1. I do not like these changes. I never play asylum because it takes way too long to find the ghost room. Now every map is going to be a pain in the ass. I do not enjoy trying to find the room for 30 minutes wasting all my time. Just remove freezing temperatures as evidence. This is making the game so much more annoying. I think I am done playing this game most of the new updates just make the game more and more time consuming and frustrating.

  2. Could it be that the "everyone" type ghost are now looking for a bigger audience to start their activity? This could explain why solo players are having problems with getting ghost activity on some ghost.

  3. Yeah but with these temperature changes for all rooms the 10 celsius objective is kind of redundant, they might have to scrap it and come up with a new one if these changes stick.

Edit: Yep, it got removed with the latest beta update, i guess the new temperature changes will stick.

  4. About the ghost event/picture, one way that can help is to lock the ghost down with crucifixes first. Then, you can get them riled up, and they won't hunt for a while. If you can do that, getting ghost events and snapping their pic in the meanwhile gets much easier. At least, that's how I've been doing it.

  5. I hate the temp changes. I'm okay with making changes that add good challenge to the game, but I don't think this is the answer. I could see maybe shortening the radius of where the cold temps are so that people have to actually go into the room and look around rather than just stand outside and point in, but this is too much of an over correction to the point I'm getting annoyed at how bizarre and unreliable temps are. I love having reason to use other equipment and not depend solely on the therm, but this makes therm practically unusable. I really hope if he decides to keep it this way that he tightens it up a lot to make it so therm is still useful and not so buggy.

  6. I think the temperature change is good but I also think they need to change up the objective then because with the rooms hitting 5c/41F with the power off that just makes it way to easy then all you need to do is go in the house and you're done with that one at the start of the game me and my friend had some times where the temperature wouldn't change until we already found out what the ghost is so yeah I think they need to change up the objective then just to make it a challenge instead of saying here have it

  7. I happened to be lurking on your stream when this change went live on Saturday. I really appreciate how you stressed that the devs trying new things was good and that people should give changes a chance. So many people hate change purely because it's change and don't take the time to see if they like it or not. It's good to have positive people like you in the community. =)

  8. Honestly, while I like this change, I feel that for some people having an option to enable or disable certain changes to make the game easier/harder would be nice. The more harder options you enable, the more money you make. So that would replace the current difficulties with a custom difficulty.

  9. It's a nice feature, but it seems more like something that people should be able to turn off or on in lobby. Like most games, if people might have a problem with it, make it optional. It also opens up this as a feature in lower difficulty. Also being able to set specifically what difficulty that pops up would be nice.

  10. The main reason the thermometor is so good is because it's consistent. What they should do along with this change is slightly buff other items such as make the ghost room and surrounding rooms give off an emf reading of 2 consistently and add like an ectoplasm slime you can see with the uv light without your flashlight on that is pretty hard to find with only a quick glance.

  11. I just wanna see more maps gameplay is fine also more ghost and also the idea of unlockable skins for our characters would be cool but free of course via challenges just got that feel of achievement

  12. Who hates on the updates just wants life to be easy and served, well bad news it doesn't work like that. You need to learn how to dance during a storm and enjoy the process 😀

  13. This is good. People need to stop relying on the thermometer and start using their ears and common sense. Look for doors that you didn't open, listen for footsteps that don't belong to your team etc.

  14. I hope the dev is going to keep these changes. It is very much needed. Ghost hunts were waaaayyyyyy to easy and way to fast. Simple put the game got stale and boring as hell until this update. This at least this has added a challenge. But we all knows speed runners or others are going to cry because it’s harder to find out the ghost with these changes. To that I say get better at the game and if you need a easier experience stop playing Phasmophobia Go play some easier games that you can have everything handed to you. Lol.

Before some stupid fools think that I am directing this to Nuzz please go jump off the building for everyone in the world. I am talking about the complainers that have been crying to get everything reverted back to the lame way the game was before all these great updates.

  15. I read patch notes about the Professional changes with the thermometer and breaker. Instantly think well it very obvious everyone is going to b-line it to the breaker box.

After a day of playing I notice every playing or making videos are telling everyone to run straight to the the breaker first like we all don’t know that all ready. Lol. At least Nuzz isn’t telling everyone like they are dumb and just offering the suggestions that could have made you life hunting better. Everyone else is you should or need to run straight to the breaker. Then run out the house and wait a minutes or two before going in again.

  16. Love these videos and the updates! I do entirely agree that the ghosts shouldn't be so shy or passive, especially ghosts like Banshee or Demon, which are intended to hunt earlier or more often. It's nice to see the beginning of AI pathing and hunting mechanic changes, so maybe that kind of stuff is coming.

  17. I like the change since I think it'd be a lot more fun if players had to rely on more than just one tool when it comes to finding the ghost. The parabolic mic is more of a challenge to use and learn; same with the sound and motion sensors, so I dig it.

  18. I really like the thermo-changes, the game was starting to become repetitive. Now the game is spooky again for me, especially since I don't even take the thermo to confirm ghost rooms anymore, so it takes a long time to actually confirm it with evidence. Got a few good spooks from it from the few games I've played
