This new update changes hiding in Phasmophobia FOREVER! You are no longer safe inside lockers and closets! You now have to hold the doors shut. Also all the safe spots (exploits) are patched which is amazing! I think the recent and frequent updates have been amazing for the game and am excited to see what more lies in store for us in the near future! Much love and see you during the streams! 😀

This video concerns beta patch v.0.23. Main Changes in #phasmophobia:
Fixes
1. Fixed several “safe spots” in all levels.
2. Fixed a bug where the ghost would get stuck when trying to navigate to a location it couldn’t reach such as a closet or locker.
3. Fixed a bug where you couldn’t change the difficulty to professional if you were below level 25.
Changes
1. The ghost can now hear Non-VR players when hunting in single player without you using push to talk.
2. The ghost can now open locker doors similar to normal doors.
New
1. The ghost can now open doors, closets and lockers when hunting which can be stopped by holding the door. The ghost will still walk through doors like it did before.

I haven't played in a month, I'ma shit myself when I play next.
I've made it to level 100 without dying once and I've had on many occasions gotten hunted while in its room but since it didn't hunt by sound and hunt by following a path i was always fine so now i cant cheese the ghost anymore but the added difficulty is great
You know if you play in vr if you go down to floor the ghost can't reach you

remember: ghosts cant fit into closets unless both doors are open, you can still hold one shut and ghost wont fit in

I'm wondering if this will bring out the wraithe's unique trait more. The one where they can "move through walls". They might just try to open a closet for funziees to throw you off and then just kill you as they phase through. Or what'd be even better is if demons, oni, and poltergeists could actually struggle and fight against you to the point where they could potentially rip the door open (at the expense of energy [hunt time]) since they seem to be the 3 that have a more pronounce moving physical objects trait. This will be interesting.

It would be creepy as well as cool if they added a patch where in the peripheral vision of the player, a dark small head would peak around for a split second in like 'real' ghost videos

how the fuck do i hide from it cause i just played a game and if i moved or did anything cause i was in the hall way in the high school when i was outside of the room it ran at me i did not speak did not have anything that made noise in my hand
and i walked what do i do to move quietly cause it seems that i can not run from it and the ghost can hunt so fast i had it hunt after it hunted after 20 seconds after the other hunt it would start another while i was tryingt o get a cam with a tripod in there and i walked did not make one sound on my mic does it pick up things that my mic picks up such as like my ac or just things outside or just whatever things like that caues that is kinda annoying
