  1. Honestly. If you learn how to counter this ghost it's pretty easy. Just hide like you normally would, and if it sounds really fast, get out of the hiding spot and find the ghost. As long as you don't have a lot of equipment and can prove it's not a Raiju.

  2. I think the dangerous thing with the deogen is when you dont know if its a deogen and if there is an early hunt and youre not completely aware there is a bigger chance to die

  3. Knowing my luck, my first encounter with it, it will be a mimic who'll switch to revenant between hunts when I'm confidently waiting to tease the ghost in a wide open space (like the sports hall in high school)

  4. It should randomly get a very quick speedboost for 0.2 seconds or, if you just stare at it… The amount of startled cries would be absoletely awesome. xD

  5. Insym, you have SO much fun with this game, and you really engage your chat even when there are literally thousands of people. It’s such a delight to watch. ^_^ Your laughter is contagious. xD And your mind goes a mile a minute! Like, I can’t keep up, but I like that you still stop and make sure everyone can catch up to where your thinking is. You’re a really good teacher, and I really love watching your streams and videos. ^_^

  6. I played against this ghost and it’s scary cause it’s fast but as soon as really close to you is very slow. You can literally walk away it will never catch you

  7. The Deogen is actually very scary because you know it senses you and you cant hide, especially in multiplayer you dont know which player the ghost is following

  8. If you play multiplayer and provoke the ghost during hunt, Deogen will target the player who nears to him as priority target so other player cant be targeted and considered as Banshee behaviour, cmiiw cuz i try public lobby to test this ghost

  9. Sometimes I rly love your way of getting distracted so easy:
"We have a summoning circle lets hurry and summon right away, we have no time to lose!"
5 sec later… Oh a stairway lets find a teddy! I have seen some ppl in multiplayer…
…and slowly the teddy rolls down the stairs because luckily the circle does not run away xD

  10. That really is a baby crawling although an actual baby crawls faster than that thing. I can imagine getting a Grudge model Deogen and it's croaking while going down stairs.

  11. If a new player is hiding and this is the ghost, how will they know they need to run if they don’t know about the slow speed etc? Is there another tell?

  12. This is an idea I got while playing Hollow Knight. In that game the more times you kill an enemy the more information you get about them. It would be pretty cool if the more times you successfully find a ghost the more info you get. So you start off knowing their description and evidence, then after a match you gain the strength/weakness, and after a few more rounds you gain a detailed explanation of the ghost. Obviously the detailed section being excluding on new ghosts for the first couple weeks because finding it yourself is also very fun. But at some point there are things you just won't find yourself and not having to research it and actually just play the game to find it out would be a nice addition

  13. Moroi: the Succubus-Banshee

-The curse is placed on a random player, similar to a Banshee.
-It will drain that player's sanity indefinitely until the hunt ends, usually around 15%. Being chased by it drains 2x.
-The more sanity it drains/feeds on from that player, the faster and more aggressive it gets.
(Meaning it's boost resets when the cursed player dies.)
-Exiting the house or taking pills removes the curse. But it also allows the ghost to curse another player.
-Smudge sticks will make it roam more when hunting. I think it's double, around 10 seconds.
-Smudge sticks will make it more passive when not hunting, but this also depends on the curse.
(So if you smudge at the start it becomes a Shade, if you smudge after a curse it's aggression resets to normal. Until it hunts.)
TLDR; Targets, Drains, Powers itself up the more it drains, Weak to scented candles.

    Deogen: The stalker.
(easiest ghost in the game imo, since you can avoid death by holding W)
(Legit you can just ignore this ghost and continue to get evidence since it will NEVER catch up with you as long as you're in the open. Getting Deogen on a map like School makes this ghost completely useless.)

-It will run straight for the nearest player regardless if they're hiding.
-It will kill you inside a hiding spot
-The closer you are to it, the slower it is. Reverse Revenant.
-It will sprint for 1-2 seconds at random while chasing when you get further away from it. It's not Line of Sight, it's just broken AI pathing.
-It is the only ghost that will growl in the spirit box, allowing you to instantly figure out the ghost type
-Smudging it will slow it down a LOT while it roams, to the point where it's almost walking in place
TLDR; Don't hide. Play ring around the rosie with it. You can always outrun it unless you're in a corner.

    Thaye: the temper tantrum

-Very aggressive as soon as you enter the house. Mimicking a Demon, Onryo and Poltergeist it will throw objects, jumpscare and slam doors.
-IF you force it to hunt early, it will be as fast as a Revenant regardless if you're in sight or not.
-After about the average length of a single game (5-10 minutes) it will become docile like a Shade.
