What do you think of this preview?
Well there goes my happiness just poofed away so I guess I'm done waiting for console to "even" get it

Still super excited for the consoles! Can’t wait to play with friends who don’t have a PC! Also super excited for the Maple Lodge rework!! Thanks for the update!
I’m hoping they’ll do the same with camp woodwind! I know CJ talked about how he wanted to give it a a much needed rework, but I’m hoping they’ll be releasing a rework along side of maple lodge!
As always, bummed about console being released but I’m also starting to become worried about the amount of delays. A fire incident is definitely a valid reason, but as for the map reworks and poor optimization and performance? They explicitly stated that they knew about these issues and how they were monitoring it, but I guess for some reason not fixing it? As much as I wanna give the devs the benefit of the doubt, it sounds like there’s a bit of incompetence and lack of prioritization of blatant issues that they choose to ignore and the consequences of procrastination are coming back to bite them in the ass!
Like I said, I’ll let this one slide due to the fire, but the amount of delays and pushbacks that are occurring and more frequently are becoming a worrying and frustrating trend. I understand they’re a smaller team but that’s no excuse for not knowing the state of their own game. There are many games being developed by one person and yet they’re able to provide more accurate release dates and follow better practices for releasing new information.
Kinetic, don’t fuck it up now! You’ve gotten so far and it’s clear you all have the talent to make a great game and it would be shame for it all to go to waste over procrastination and incompetence!
yay campsite
Thank you for the update and it is good they are doing something on PC for Halloween! Where I have… concerns is that Covid was not that long ago, so the "challenges of working remotely" should not be new or honestly that much of a chore in modern era. In 2022 there was almost no content due to "revamping" systems, VR and such. This year there was basically one content drop and almost no bug fixes or balance changes since, due to "the release of console". I get they are a small team and try to keep the Early Access in mind, however the last two or so years really have not felt that good for the game of Phasmophobia.

I got super into phasmo right before the original release date and then it got delayed. And now I was thinking about it yesterday again and this. Rip
I'm so sorry that they had to deal with a fire. It ruins so much, and adds so much anxiety and stress to an already stressful situation. They are some of the best devs I have ever seen. Thank you all for working so hard. We can be patient.
This is the second time console release has been delayed and honestly im waiting till new year and if it isnt out then im just not going to buy the game so im hoping it releases before then
I'm hyped for every update, but mostly I'd like them to focus on getting rid of all the bugs that are in the game since the new patch. Multiplayer lobbies are a mess, the sound system is not working properly, blocking leads to almost irreversable problems, hackers aka 'modders' are still around a lot, invisible and/or inaudible ghosts combined with hunt/smudge bugs makes it really hard enjoying the game as much as before the patch.
I still love it though
No surprise about the console release, the PC version is still hosting many bugs.
This is a low key nerf of the 12.97 difficulty speed run that many do on campwood xD "rework" .. it is a nerf xD
Lmao you and Insym have the exact same thumbnail side by side in my feed and it's so funny
I stopped playing this game for a year just started again because of the console release update. But it’s funny to see after all these years the devs still can’t get this game together lol. Still bugs everywhere. Constant delays on everything. Like nothing changed from release
Of course Psycho is going to loop ghosts around crates lul
Im sorry but hearing we can be patient makes my skin crawl, like be patient for something no one on console has even got a chance to play or experience give me a break, if it came out on console first and not PC and PC got delayed as much as console you'd have a field day ripping in to devs who did this. As to patience we have been more than patience. This only make people lose faith in the development of a game.
Hopefully Phasmophobia will come to console a lot sooner than 7DTD
I posted a witch cauldron as an idea a long time ago, I suggested needing the bone to activate it
It would be sick for halloween if they increased the ghost event by 300% or something!
It feels too little too late to me personally. Between the over-grindy progression update, the performance issues, and challenge mode no longer being fun in most cases and even possible at all in others, this just doesn't seem like nearly enough to re-kindle the game for me. While I agree the campsite(s) need a rework badly and finally seeing performance improvements promised is nice, there are still so many other issues the devs are just ignoring, and pushing those issues onto console will only make them worse and harder to fix since they'll need to work on both PC and console changes for them. It's looking more and more like I'll be waiting another year+ for any sort of content update or meaningful change patches and that's saddening.
