Wow, having new dots and a dots flashlight, aswell as one the moves! this is awesome, the phasmo team is the best there is. Also love the customizable badges! way better then what i expected.

This update will clearly be a huge game changer. I feel like once it's fully out and we get to the full player base bug fixing and balancing, this will probably be the best update so far or the worst so far. It really depends on how much the game gets overhauled and if it still has the same core feeling.
Edit: I like the current state of the game and the new dots seems like it will improve the game. Now we wait for the future previews

I would prefer if they made it so pre-progressiin badge wasn't locked in, so you could customise it in the future. Especially if they intend to add more customisation options like CJ has hinted at. I.e. your badge may not match the clothing you prefer etc.
Also, do we have any vague ETA on the update? I would love to hit 5k but I don't think I'll make it… If we have another month I might manage it.

Finally, DOTS will now work how literally everyone expected it to work when it first came out (i.e. grid-based motion sensor).
Hopefully, the next item upgrade is a writing book that can stand upright again. I miss that feature. 🙂
I don't want an unchangeable, permanent badge to show my pre-reset level. Can this feature be disabled?
Can't wait to see the new dots. Sounds a lot easier to see for those of us with visual acuity problems.

I wonder how the Goryo dots will be visible with the pen. I do like how slower they are now as they were hard to see on YT videos.
I kind of don't like the idea of level badges. People are 100% gonna use it as a superiority complex thing. Plus, I can already visualize my badge and it's ugly.
I am pumped for this change! It does raise a question for me, though: are the ghost roaming speeds all the same, or do they reflect their hunt speeds? I.e Would it be theoretically possible to identify a fast or slow ghost from its roaming speed as it wanders through a DOTS projector? (I suspect they all roam at the same speed but you never know!)

Anyone would be a FOOL to not like the new DOT progression and the rework of it, it make absolutely sense that it is real-time ghost that is walking on DOT, and I'm excited to experiment with all 3 tiers equipment! One thing I'm a little bit sad about – no pink colour option for the badge XD
THEY'RE ADDING EQUIPMENT TIERS?! I haven't played and been up to date for a long time. These new tiers is probably what you see in the lobby right now. You can see different variations of the equipment in the lobby with a "coming soon" sign next to it.
Still reliant on the ghost having the DOTS evidence but that's not exactly a short list either, so definitely going to be a nice improvement!
