Cool, getting some "It Follows" vibes from the Deogen
Also Deogen is deprivred from the dutch "De ogen" meaning "The Eyes". Must say this is a very local myth in Belgium and i personally have never heard of it.
We definitely needed a ghost that wasn't fooled by hiding at all; I'm excited to see the Deogen in action
Is if just me or with the prestiege they should add more outfits
I could see the Deogen’s ( however the hell you spell it) weakness be it takes a lot of sanity drain for it to be able to hunt
I feel like the Deogen will have the same speed as a non-hunting Rev so players can no longer go "It's slow, it's a Rev" so there's still a bit of detective work needed.
So, I wonder if Deogen always know where you are and you’re playing as a multiplayer lobby, do they act like a banshee or do they know where everyone is??
If you cant hide, this will make tanglewood extremely interesting
An idea for a reporting feature: some sort of physical inappropriateness checkbox (for VR players). Say another VR player does inappropriate gestures. (VR) assault is very very subjective of course, but people can get frightened.

Another loopable ghost? I'm down for that, even though it could be spicy on some maps like Ridgeview. Also interesting that is has both dots and ghost writing evidence. That will require us to break with some old habits as well.
I don't think they're gonna have wallhack or smthing, it'll be too obvious.
It's almost the anti-revenant which I wanted. The anti-rev would basically move fast as hell when it has no targets but move slower when it does, so it searches fast but you can loop/escape. By always knowing where you are it semi-fulfils that anyway.Now I just want a banshee rework. Always follows its target instead of ghost room, yes plz.
Unique trait-has both DOTS and Writing; before this no ghost has had both; it was either one of them or neither. That'll be a great tip to help identify it.
Holy heck, I actually called it with the Deogen. I can’t link it because YouTube will auto-remove my comment, but almost four months ago I posted an idea exactly like this on the subreddit as my suggestion to fix the banshee while it was still weak. I wonder if this new ghost’s birth had anything to do with my idea being spread? The title of the post was “My Idea to Rework the Banshee” by u/Flintiz, if anyone wants to go digging for it.
I'm not good at reading blurred text. But in my opinion it looks like it says "Destyl" and not "Deogen". We'll have to wait and see what it is!
Reminds me a bit of the Foglet monsters in The Witcher 3. Obviously, quite different, but just the folklore you mentioned. Cool!
I'd say the report options cover enough that the next page's "Additional Comments" box covers the rest
Shade rework when? I swear the Shade is a pain in the ass to deal with now. It makes for some very, very boring games.
Hope it's not actually a ghost with wall hacks or the game is going to become much much more annoying.
