  1. Wow this looks neat! I havent only got a mare twice since the friggin campgrounds came out and we died both times but I'm excited again to experience the changes, thanks for this information! 🥇🥳

  2. i had the most intelligent mare ever, i was playing nightmare mode with friends in tanglewood, the ghost room was foyer but then changed to nursery and in both of those rooms it did give only 1 evidence and it exploded both lights

  3. I don't doubt your testing but I've experienced this "instant light turn off" with ghosts that haven't been mare. I think those games were "reports of light switching" – I know for a fact a different ghost was doing this and it wasn't a mare (i only know this because I haven't actually had a mare this patch)

  4. We were in the prison in B block and had no lights on and had sanity down to 52% and it would not hunt. It caused us to choose another ghost as I thought there was no chance of it being a mare. I was thinking maybe with this update they changed the hunt ability to a lower sanity. Must have just been a bug.

  5. So if the ghost you're going up against starts taking out a lot of lights, lean Mare. Noted.

Among other things. That instant light switch turn off is gonna be a minor annoyance at best, but a telling one.

  6. I love these new behavior changes. They finally made the ghost more unique now instead of just a random rng roll every game. Good on the devs to also include the mimic in this update. It adds another layer of challenge to identifying the ghosts now that a lot of them are potentially easier to figure out now.

  7. Awesome. I love that they're making the ghosts personalities more distinct. Hope to see what they did (if they did anything) to other ghosts like Oni, Shade and Yurei. Because some of these ghosts combos were near impossible to figure out on Nightmare mode.

  8. I wish it were that easy. The only reliable one is never being able to turn ON the lights. I just had a game where the ghost instantly turned off the light twice on me (a few minutes apart) and it also turned off the lights many other times. Tons of objects in the room so the switches were not the only interactable objects. I thought Mare at first but evidence was wrong and it ended up being a Goryo. 🙁

  9. 0:42 I've had almost all types of Ghost do this now. At first I thought it was just mare but the only ghost I Haven't seen do this yet is Obake and I'm sure that's coincidence. This is not a mare ability. I think mare just does it MORE than other ghosts. But for example I just had a Jinn turn the light off 3 times in a row when I turned it on…
