There has just been a very exciting Nightmare Balance patch released for Phasmophobia (v0.4.1.0) with some new questions & mechanics for the Ouija Board, and significant tweaks to other aspects of the game.

  1. I like the asking about your sanity bit, but it doesn't make sense. The ghost is supposed to speak through the ouija board, this is meta knowledge the ghost should not be privy to. Even if the ghost did know our sanity, why would it tell us? The ghost is meant to answer questions about itself, not the players. So I hope this gets changed in the future in favour of something that makes more sense. Kind of breaks the immersion.

  2. Played the update this evening. Had a Hantu drain our sanities from 80% to 2% in seconds even though it's not a sanity ghost. Wonder if this is a bug? It happened on 3 separate occasions to different players so wasn't a one-off.

  3. I feel like the hiding places for lower levels were def increased, was playing the other day on amateur/intermediate with some buddies and it felt like every closet was full so I can imagine what the other levels are like

  4. Hallelujah for no longer invisible! I was getting SO frustrated that the majority of our ghosts were completely invisible – no shadows, not transparent etc. Seemed way too unfair.

  5. Could be cool if the question "how many have you killed" revealed some sort of viable on how aggressive the ghost is expected to become. This would also make the ghost more aggressive the more players has been killed.

  6. the fire fix, cj did say he meant onryo not obake, also edgefeild is broken, i gotten bugged hunts, nursery room and the hunt would start at the basement stairs, living room,, all while the ghost room havent changed. I blacklisted edgefield until the fix

  7. Not sure if anyone can confirm this, but I think on Nightmare; if fingerprints is the hidden evidence the ghost won’t show footprints either. Again, just found this with a Hantu so if anyone can confirm that’d be great.

  8. Imagine if they added ghost experience, the older a ghost is, the longer ago it died, and the number of people it killed show its level of experience, and the more experienced ghosts may have more dangerous hunts because they are better at hunting
