  1. As for the fingerprints, this is one of those features that makes sense and removes the cheesy aspect for the game, which logically is a great thing, though it’s one of those things that I’ll hate at first, due to the current way being quick.

For the footsteps, this is a great start, logically and for a gameplay perspective and I definitely think there’s some other things the devs could implement for interactions and helping to fix non-UV ghosts have their UV become more apparent.

This game is coming along nicely and I’m excited to see the next evidence changes!

  2. Nice but we need fingerprints on players – imagine CJ having fingerprints on his butt and everyone rushing to take picture of it (while possibly dying of laughter)…

  3. I usually cheese the footprint photos to fill my book. Looks like I'll have to work a little harder for the photos, especially if the money/XP rewards for them are going to be improved.
I do wonder if the technical aspects of how they are doing things will detract from the scariness. I guess we'll see how it all works in Horror 2.0.

  4. I am curious if we will be allowed to bring more glowsticks, if they initially only last a minute. I see the shake but how long does that last for? Hopefully they allow 10 glowsticks with 2.0 or extend the life by a bit longer (three minutes & shake for one additional minute?) Also may need a few more salt items, unless higher tiers spread across a much wider area, otherwise large maps is still problematic for getting UV evidence.

  5. I enjoy the fact that they are more or less leaving our current (tier 2 mostly) equipment alone for the update. I was worried that they might nerf our current equipment to make the tier 3 equipment look better, but so far, they've not shown any sign of doing that, and that shows me they really tried to put thought into this.

  6. Very excited for this and it make sense absolutely, I hate looking at my photo books and just see several door pics that say 'Fingerprints' on it but there's nothing on it KEKW, so yes this make sense! Thank you for continuing to keep us updated to all the dev previews!

  7. Kind of curious now for no evidence challenges or whenever it's a hidden evidence. Like if it's a ghost with UV evidence, would it still have footprints or would it hide it as well?

  8. i hope the let you draw with salt making a line on the the floor could slow down ghosts or stop the rev from passing for a short while the longer a ghost stands next to the salt the salt would turn black and loose its power. just some ideals

  9. I would like if they made the fingerprints vary where they're placed on the door, and maybe let a door have more than one fingerprint on it at a time. I always found it gamey that the ghost always touches the door in the same spot every time, and it'd be amazing to see a door just get covered on both sides with handprints after a hunt.

  11. I am looking forward to this update. I just realized it is also a boost for the salt. You can just put it in a room, shine your uv light and wait for the ghost to step in. You immediatrly know if you need to check for fingerprints or not because its easier to locate a used saltprint than a touched door
