The thermometer is still one of the best ways to find the ghost in the beginning, but when the power is off all the rooms are colder which makes it harder to snuff out. You can see where the power box is on the map, get that sucker on ASAP.

And actually gets higher difficulty when you play custom difficulty you can actually make it much more harder for an example you can make it where there are no clues you just have to figure it out by how they behaves
There is actually a lot of different ways you can make the game a lot harder including making the flashlights not work a whole bunch of different scenarios you can do

I think alot of the time the problem is that you are all basing your guesses off of preconceptions about the paranormal. IE red=Demon Scary voice=Demon etc… These are things you are used to seeing in moview but have no basis on the game. For instance, With the twins deal, Poltergeist phenomenon and hunting at the same time = twin activity. If activity increases with mor lights and powered equipment its a raiju. In nightmare mode the ghost "HIDES" one peice of evidence, so you will never have all 3. You must base your conjecture off of the type of phenomenon which occurs and the edidence you already have. So, read the ghosts descriptions and memorize their strengths weaknesses and descriptions.
Also where you were playing on nightmare mode you can only get two evidence and you kept looking for three it will not exist in nightmare mode
Try to turn off your equipment before you throw it on the ground or enter a hiding spot. The ghost loses you easier without the equipment on so it gives you a few extra seconds to get away. Also with a ghost like a raiju that gets a power buff around electronics that are on if you turn them off while running away it can't get that speed boost on you!
Okay dope man so remember nightmare only gives you Two pieces of evidence. The third won’t come…and ghost is guessed by how it acts.

Be quiet when the ghost is hunting- it can hear your mic and will check where it hears sounds from. On the flipside you could use this to lure it away from your friends (yeah, right).

Lmao you guys do NOT need to be on nightmare mode. Nightmare mode only gives you two evidences and requires you to know the different aspects and abilities of each ghost. Yall haven't even learned all the basics yet. It's super funny to watch but frustrating at the same time lol. If your gonna do nightmare mode then you need a veteran player to help you guys through it.
