  1. The Mirror is quite good as well for locating the ghost, if you get one of the Bedrooms you can also look if the door is open or closed.
    Sadly it won't show where the Bone is though, that makes it a bit harder :/

  2. I think mostly single players think it is too large. I agree and never play it in single player. They should leave it full size for multiplayer. When playing single player they should use the same map but block off (make inactive) whole sections to make it more manageable for single player mode. They can block it off the same way they block off closets and deactivate those areas for ghost activity. This would keep the map exactly the same but pare it down for single player.

  3. Honestly, on the maps, I think they should tie size to the difficulty. For instance, in Asylum, 'Beginner' could be the central area, closing off left and right wings; 'Medium' would be just upstairs, closing stairs; Professional and nightmare would be full map. Something similar for high school as well: Easy and Medium would just be downstairs, Professional and Nightmare would be whole map. Prison easy would just be visitor and offices, medium would lock the cell block doors, and, of course, professional and nightmare would be the full map.

  4. I honestly wish with asylum that they'd do a toggle for like half and full map, and just add a doorway along each corridor that is just sealed and ghost can't go past on half map, detail up the smaller side and call it a day

  5. The Asylum should always remain large as it is always a good challenge to do. To me I would have made new map called Abandoned Hospital which will be half the size of the Asylum.

  6. A portable tablet map for large maps would be nice, especially if it shows sensors like the truck one. Place a sensor, check some other place, if it goes off you can see it while you're there instead of sitting in the truck doing nothing.

  7. My friends and I loathe Asylum because it’s too big. It was at least okay back in the day but trying to find the ghost room with all the doors open by default, not knowing where the breaker is, and sanity pills being absolute dogshit in multiplayer, it’s way more annoying than it is fun :/ I’ve tried so hard to like the map but I just can’t lol

  8. I think a neat fix to the ghost sometimes wandering your direction after a smudge would be to have it enter that stunned animation that it does when you summon it with the Circle. I feel like it'd be an easy fix, and it wouldn't make smudging feel as random.
