  1. Can you still mount dots to the wall instead of putting it on the floor.
Because I remember in early game access you could mount them to the wall just like a motion detector which you didn't seem to use in this video.
One thing I've seen other YouTubers do when doing a spirit box is ask the goes to show itself or to speak and there's a few other things that they ask but I'm not sure what they are.
The one where the ghost spawn right in front of you just before you got in the house that kind of like okay and then the one where it was in the front bedroom and you manage to get a picture of it as it walked right by you was pretty awesome and also pretty scary moment.
😂 I can't believe you walked right into the ghost.
I love when you do phasmaphobia with the guys, although I think scar needs a little bit of help with the game even though he's played for a little bit now.
Also you guys just need one more player because of how many times you guys died.

  2. I know Insym is considered like THE phasmo player, but I suuuuper recommend Maggstor's videos! She makes these incredible guides on how to recognize the ghosts without evidence in a really clear and concise way. Please give her videos a shot, you won't regret it!

  3. Just a comment on that Mare near the end of the video. I’ve heard that it’s possible for the light switch to bamboozle you. I’m pretty sure the ghost manifested (heard heartbeat), which ALWAYS turns the lights off in the room. So that may not have actually been the Mare’s ability.

  4. Enjoy the solo runs, could I suggest doing the larger maps on an easier difficulty to learn the maps, turn on the power and turn the lights on so you can figure out where everything is.

  5. Impulse mate, you can't be afraid of crossing out evidence, it helps a ton. You were there in your first hunt for a really long time, and not once did you get emf 5 could have crossed it out, same with freezing temps, you could have crossed out fairly early. Crossing out helps just as much as finding the actual evidence.

  6. I don't know why but this one scared the BUTT OFF ME (I think it's the lack of jokes and silly energy from the rest of the gang.) Like Tango would say ULTIMATE PUCKER! Keep up the good work Impulse! i'm gonna go lie down

  7. Tip with telling ghost hunts from events: The ghost makes the same sound every hunt, so after you have one hunt listen for that sound. If you hear any other sound its an event. If you hear that one particular sound it's a hunt. This has helped me so much with getting ghost photos during events because I would quickly know not to run.

  8. Quick note, Hantu do NOT speed up in LOS. Their speed is entirely based off of the temperature in the room. Easiest way to figure them out during a hunt is if they do not speed up if they have line of sight.

  9. Jins will not turn off lights or breakers. Hantus will show cold breath during hunts. You can also do a smudge test (when your sanity is in the right range). Demons will hunt 60 seconds after smudging, spirits 180, and all the rest are 90. It's a good idea to put salt in doorways, then you can check footprints after hunts. Plus, Obake shape shift during hunts.

  10. A banshee will also follow you around. Like when you came in the house and it hunted behind you even though it’s room was the kitchen. But the wraith, phantom and banshee will follow you around and spawn in areas that you have previously been in.

I’ve been trying to get better at the technical side of the game as well. I just happen to find this YouTuber who is so good she can get the ghost most times after one hunt. Gotta check her out. The name is Maggstor

  11. i think a "safe" way to test for a thaye is at the start of a game, open the door so the ghost becomes active, and then wait for a very long time to let it do thjings, and after a while see if much happens since there is no ghost that does the oposite of the thaye where it speeds up or "becomes younger" over time

  12. Loving the solo runs, the game is so deep on strategy and it's cool watching you learn. I was rooting for you so hard on the Rev and Demon runs, they were tense. Incense is your friend, would have probably saved you on most deaths. Your group sessions are also a heap of fun, thanks for introducing me to this game in the first place.

  13. deogen and yokai would be some of the more accessible hunt tests, so next time you have a 50/50 a hunt won't be as bad! just go to another room, and start with a yokai test. turn your flashlight on, and if the ghost doesn't find you it's probably a dumb ol' yokai. but if the ghost does find you, it will slow down as it's a deogen, and looping it will be easy. and even if it's a smarter yokai, losing them by hiding is easier because their detection range is so low.
