  1. I get why you would want to move on, it's a good game it's just at a slower pace to some of the other stuff you play. I prefer the slow paced gameplay with friends but yeah I need to go and shoot something sometimes and this game just doesn't give you that same thrill being a evidence and hide based game. Mix it up and above all play what you feel like man. 🤘😎

  2. Tis a shame for those who really enjoyed the Phasmo vids but I definitely get it, gotta play what you enjoy. Unfortunately for me I'm not really interested in DBD, never had any friends who were interested so never got into it. But will definitely stay subbed and followed on Twitch and check out vids for other games that catch your interest!

  3. Familiarity breeds comfort. Comfort kills the entire purpose of a horror game. If you're comfortable, it's boring. I think if the devs want to increase the longevity of the game, they don't just need variant types, but to figure out a way to keep people engaged the whole time. They need to have the ghost be a constant threat from start to finish and not just base it on sanity meter.

  4. I’m honestly still surprised since it’s something you probably get more views than normal on. And I’m pretty bummed because I enjoyed watching your videos the most out of anyone’s. But I guess you gotta do what you have to do. Good luck in the future

  5. What I love about Phasmophobia now is the cult following it has, everyday I meet amazing people and I've met some great fellow streamers that I have become good friends with. Also we all can talk about stories and completely understand the struggle or the situation they were in. Fear wise, I definitely fluctuate. Sometimes I will be completely unafraid and not react to anything, other games I'll crap my pants. Such a fantastic game and I found out about it from you so thank you Dusk! Really excited for whatever it is you decide to do. 🤘🧅🤘

  6. subbed for the phasmophobia content, stayed for the awesomesauce player. i've been really enjoying some of the other indie games you've been playing 🙂 i don't play phas as much anymore either, but i hope one day another game invigorates me just as much.

  7. ah, my first time ever seeing Phas was with Dusk – before the changes to Twitch… I'd be up very late for my time.. enjoying you play . Will be a great memory. Thank you x from Mumooshka

  8. You're a strong independent viking that doesn't need Phasmophobia! I learned a lot about the game from you and your Phasmo runs sparked joy during my Covid blues, but I'm happier to hear that you're putting your enjoyment first. Keep kicking ass, dude.

  9. My friends and I still play! We stream it on my friend's channel on Tuesdays and have a lot of fun. That said, totally understand feeling burnt out on it. There was a time we were playing this daily, and now it's more once or twice a week. I've never been in a game's beta like this before, so I enjoy getting to provide feedback and actually having a part in testing things out. Agreed with you on highly recommending it. I still get some good spooks and scares from this from time to time.

  10. They need to lean into the different difficulties. I understand that if they made it too difficult all-around, new players wouldn't have a fun time, but…that's why we have Amateur, Intermediate, and Professional to begin with. There's very little difference outside of the setup timer (which is almost pointless anyway, especially on bigger maps). That way, we have the choice for how we want to play.

Anyway, I totally respect this. Hopefully they ramp it up for Professional in the future at least. Maybe if they put an extra focus on that, it'd be nice since Amateur probably doesn't need anything else.

  11. This was a PHENOMENAL game when it first came out, and we all were learning it at the same time. People were speculating and spreading rumors…and it was just FUN, esp with friends.
Who can forget the first time you got a response on the spirit box? Or the first time you saw something fly across the room? Now it's gotten…stale

  12. Hi. You're ghost freak out in the high school bathroom is one of my favorite phasmo moments. Hopefully the game evolves, I'd love to play as the ghost some day. Good luck.

  13. I haven't watched the video yet to see your opinions, but for me its just because of how easy it is. Its incredibly predictable which can make it boring, but the scares are just not good when you know you can just walk down a corridor and not be killed

  14. You only played because you wanted a challenge, and you pretty much always play solo.
Reason I'm still playing frequently is because I'm enjoying being with my friends and loved ones.
Maybe the point isn't a "challenge". If you want that, you should definitely play other things.
Maybe you should approach it from a different angle, instead of quit entirely.

But whatever. Your decision, and though I am saddened, I honestly don't really care about this channel anymore.
    Goodbye then, Dusk.

  15. It's gonna take a while for a small dev team to amp up the ante in this game, so I don't mind that you're moving on with your content
Hopefully things progress in the game's creation, regardless, staying subscribed to you

  16. From what I remember, you're a super high level, put a bunch of hours into the game. It makes sense that the game got stale, it's starting to get stale for me at 27 hours, but i will still go on to say that this game is heckin fun. But I can understand why you'd stop

  17. They are adding a method of speeding up the ghosts so that kiting is not going to be possible. It is mentioned as part of the next Beta update on the Trello page. Also they recently added new objectives that make hunts more dangerous as well, so soon Phas will have what you are looking for.

  18. You put so many hours into content and teaching people.
Makes sense why it's not fun for you anymore after how much time you put in.
Buuut saying it's not difficult enough when you've mastered going solo on professional difficulty so many times… 💁‍♂️

  19. If it's a demon it could attack right now… At 89% sanity… Dusk, I love you, me and the person who introduced me to you will always support you no matter what content you go for, so no disrespect meant at all towards Dusk. A demon cannot start hunting until average sanity is below 65%, so no, it will not hunt, not even close. There is supposedly a way any ghost can hunt at any sanity, supposedly DK himself said this, but to my knowledge, that's never been confirmed, just like phantom possession being a thing. I 100% agree the game needs more difficulty though.

I feel like amateur is fine, intermediate should be the current professional since it's basically amateur as is, and professional should have that possible any ghost can hunt instantly idea implemented, or possibly make the ghosts hunt more, or be more dangerous during hunts, literally something that makes it borderline impossible to survive a hunt. I heard new evidence/ghost types were an idea, hopefully all of the new ghost types will be much more dangerous than even a rev, because revs are kinda easy. A surprise banshee hunt is honestly the worst for me, but I can still handle them. Phantoms have serious potential to be the worst if they moved like Revs during a hunt. I want a one hunt TPK possible ghostie. Or ghosts that can teleport in front of you mid-hunt. Also, ghosts that can walk through furniture or see through doors so you can't loop certain ghosts, or can't hide, that would be be awesome, you'd have to know what the ghost is before the hunt otherwise you could be screwed.

  20. sad, It's the game that made me discovered this channel .. I used to participate in your You Solve this One videos… yeah Phasmaphobias glorious days are over .. even venttex kinda burned out too, but insym is kinda kept going, but i dunno maybe he only post older vids?

  21. I understand your point of view but they are still adding content to the game, such as the new harder objectives currently in beta. They also said in an upcoming update the ghost can actually touch you if you have the special suit which I'm sure not everyone will have (myself included) because it is a bit pricy. It is sad to see you leave Phas, Dusk. I am going to hang in there a while longer while new content is still coming in.

  22. My thoughts exactly. Phasmo is a great game but we've all played it to death and now it's time to move on. If anyone I know decides to try it out though, I am more than happy to introduce the game to them.

  23. What do you think about the difficulty changes in the Trello? Making the ghost faster/progressivly faster during a hunt, make ghost check last known location at the start of hunt, make ghost invisible at the start of a hunt.

  24. Funny you mention the difficulty being what pushed you away from the game. If you check the trello, as of today DK added multiple things to do with difficulty and ghost ai that are going to be on the beta relatively soon.

  25. For me, phasmophobia is way more than just going in and finding out the ghost. What makes it fun time in and time out is pushing yourself to complete all the objectives, filling up the book with perfect pictures and sometimes throwing in your own challenges to spice it up. All of these combined put you in all kinds of situations that scare you even when you've played nearly 300 hours like me.

  26. I think the burnout is likely even for casual players. I go through phases where I'll want to play it a lot for a few days then not care for awhile. The replayability really sits with group jobs until they fully develop it. That being said I love your phasmo content and LOVE your play style and guides so if you get back into it to do those again as more development happens I'll be on it like white on rice!

  27. I don't think Phasmo was ever meant to be hard. It's just a spooky game to goof off with now and then. I could see DK eventually adding another difficulty setting for the players that want more challenge.
Considering the price, we got more than our money's worth a long time ago.

  28. I think that to make the game more difficult they could put a time limit that you cannot exceed or you would lose. Also they could add more creatures/entities so that you would need 4 clues instead of 3. It would make the game harder but not scarier though…
