This happened to me before, but immediately when we walked into the house! We at least had 100%-99% sanity. We put Demon down not realizing Banshees also can hunt pretty quickly. Took us by surprise.
Ah fun fact: Banshees ignore sanity so long as their target is in the house. Since this seems to be solo, you're the target every time and sanity doesn't matter at all. I will say though that a Banshee using it's ability that quickly is somewhat rare, only 12 seconds after you entered the house. The only thing I can attribute that to is that a ghost using it's ability is determined by Ghost Activity, and in solo you get 15% more activity so you can actually get the ghost at all without having to spend ages waiting and then dying cuz it took so long. Also, the Banshee's ghost room must've been close, since it saw you basically the moment it used it's ability, and you barely had time to turn on the fusebox. It hunts about 10 seconds after seeing the target in the place they were, and needs to walk to the location the ability marked. Since that didn't take long, it must've been close by. Also, I'm always the target. If not the first one, I'm the second one. Why? Because RNG hates me.
How did you know to start running and close the door before the flashlight started flickering? I didn't see any other signs or hear anything.
